May the Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ blessings and love be with you all. Last year on 1. 27 by the Heavenly Calendar in the 5th Year of Cheon Il Guk (February 23, 2017), Youth and Students for Peace (YSP) was inaugurated by True Parents. After the establishment of YSP Headquarters in Korea, many regional and national YSP branches were launched, creating the foundation for international networking. In the 6th Year of Cheon Il Guk it is our goal to establish an effective and global organizational structure that can firmly advance the YSP providence. We humbly request your wholehearted support in systematizing YSP chapters in each region and nation, according to the following guidelines.

1. Providential Significance of YSP A. True Parents’ Speech:

“UPF, WFWPI and YSP should unite. The recently established IAPP will completely invest in all respects to support and educate each nation. I am asking you to lead the way to realize Heavenly Parent’s great wish, and Heaven’s cherished dream.” – From Ture Mother’s address to members on the 4th Anniversary of Foundation Day

B. True Parents founded YSP, including YFWP, CARP, and HARP, as comprehensive providential organization.

2. Personnel Assignment

A. Regional YSP: Appoint regional president, secretary-general and other necessary personnel.

B. YSP in Special Strategic Nations: Appoint president, secretary-general and other necessary positions.

3. Basic Guidelines for the Inauguration of a New YSP Chapter

A. It is recommended that you organize an inauguration ceremony with WFWP and UPF as co-hosts (Refer to the inauguration ceremony held in the Asia region—for example, Thailand—and in Japan).

B. When choosing leaders for YSP, it is recommended to appoint leaders from existing providential organizations such as YFWP, CARP, and HARP.

C. Each Region’s Youth and Students Department Director (under the Mission Strategy Center) should be assigned to also hold the position of Secretary-General of the regional YSP-HQ.

D. It is recommended to assign a Cheon Il Guk Youth Special Envoy as the Secretary- General of a national YSP-HQ.

E. It is recommended to establish a YSP-HQ in each nation, with a President, Secretary-General, and other necessary personnel.

4. Registration of YSP as an NGO(NPO)

A. If YFWP is already registered as NGO, change its name to YSP.

B. If YFWP is not registered as NGO, register YSP as a newly established organization by submitting the past activity records related to youth and students.

5. Administrative Affairs

A. The inauguration ceremony for YSP in each region and the key strategic nations, including personnel appointments, should be completed before the Foundation Day anniversary (February 28, 2018).

B. Please submit a directory of newly appointed YSP leaders (Name, Position, Email, and Telephone Number)
