May Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ blessings and love be with you all mission nations.

The Hyojeong Cultural Center and the Department of Culture and Public Relations for True Mother’s Secretariat will be host True Parents’ 2018 Hyojeong Culture and Arts Youth Camp to commemorate True Parents’ Birthday and the 5th Anniversary of Foundation Day. This youth camp will focus on education centered on “arts and the culture of heart” as well as rehearsing for the musical “Dream of Hyojeong 2.” All the Youth Camp participants will be auditioned for a chance to perform in the musical, which is in line with True Parents’ providence of transforming society through “arts and the culture of heart.” Separate auditions will also be held during the Youth Camp to select lead roles for the musical. Through the special Youth Camp and the musical, second generations from around the world can bring together their devotion and offer them to True Parents for their birthday, help the grand celebration of Foundation Day and help develop capable youth by strengthening the culture and arts foundation around the world.

All leaders in mission nations are strongly encouraged to help recruit and assist artistically gifted youth participate in True Parents’ 2018 Youth Camp.

1. True Parents’ 2018 Hyojeong Culture and Arts Youth Camp A. Duration: 11.28 in the 5th year of Cheon Il Guk to 1.7 in the 6th year of Cheon Il Guk (January 14 - February 22, 2018-forty day workshop) B. Venue: Cheongshim International Youth Center and the entire HJ Cheonwon Complex C. Participants: 210 people including university students, Seonghwa students and other young people who satisfy the criteria for participation D. Criteria for Participation: 1) Artistically gifted youth (emphasis on performing arts such as singing, acting, dancing, etc.) 2) Gifted youth recommended by church leaders or heads of providential organizations E. Participation Fee: True Parents’ special grant will cover all workshop fees F. Major Programs: 1) Rehearsal and performance in the ‘Dream of Hyojeong 2.’ The musical will be

performed during True Parents’ 2018 Birthday Celebration 2) Launching of the 2nd Class of Hyojeong Culture and Arts 3) Education (Divine Principle and True Parents’ Life Course) 4) Special Lectures and session on Arts and the Culture of Heart 5) Networking and cultural exchange between gifted artists from throughout the world G. What to Prepare: 3-color Divine Principle book, writing utensils, personal medications, slippers, sneakers or trainers (compulsory), dress pants (for sisters, dress skirts are allowed), toiletries, pocket money, white t-shirts, FM radio (for interpretation), warm winter coat H. 2. Audition for the musical, “Dream of Hyojeong 2,” to celebrate True Parents’ Birthday and the 5th Anniversary of Foundation Day

A. Target: University students, Seonghwa students, and other young people wishing to become lead or supporting actors or actresses in the musical “Dream of Hyojeong 2” B. Areas of Recruitment: Actors, Singers, Dancers and so on C. Number of people: The number of actors being recruited is limited D. Qualifications: 1) Students majoring in arts and culture or artists with experience artistic performances such as musicals 2) If selected, all performers must ensure that they have enough free time to wholly focus on rehearsals and practices E. Venue: In the case of Korea, auditions will be held in the nation. Details on the audition venues will be announced later. In the case of the United States and Japan, the person-in-charge should collect audition videos from applicants and send them to ffwpucp@gmail.com for review.

G. Evaluation: First, each applicant must choose the part they would like to apply for: acting, dancing or singing. Then, each applicant should prepare for their audition using songs or parts from the from the musical “The Dream of Hyojeong” * Speaking parts, scores and music files will be attached.

H. Audition Results Selected candidates will be individually notified before January 5, 2018

I. Practice Schedule: All selected performers will attend the 2018 Hyojeong Culture and Arts Youth Camp (Jan. 14 – Feb. 22, 2018 in Cheong Ah Camp). However, the program for performers will differ from the regular program.

3. Administrative Matters: Korea, Japan and the United States HQs are asked to use the attached application forms, host the necessary auditions and submit all materials by the required deadlines (Japan: Dec. 26, Korea: Dec. 24, United States: Dec. 26).
