May the Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ blessings and love be with you all.

On January 2, 2003, the “Day of Victory of Love,” True Parents extended the following grace: “As you do ancestor liberation on your Father’s side, if you also liberated unmarried first generation individuals among your siblings (or your own direct children), or unmarried collaterals, then you must hold the Blessing Ceremony separately for these unmarried spirits.” Also in April 2016, True Parents said, “Please hold a Blessing for Unmarried Spirits every 3 years.” Accordingly, the “Blessing Ceremony for Unmarried 1st Generation Spirits” will be held as outlined below. We ask and hope many members who are eligible will participate.

Please note that this official memo is intended for members living outside of Korea and Japan.

1. Date 5.23 – 24 by the heavenly calendar / June 17 (Sat) – 18 (Sun), 2017 * The “Blessing Ceremony for Unmarried 1st Generation Spirits” will be held at the same time as the Ancestor Blessing Ceremony

2. Eligible Participants

1- Members who liberated 1st generation spirits who did not Participants marry while on earth (Applicants) 2- Church members 18 years of age and above who will be representing another member who cannot attend in person People in the spirit world who did not marry while they were on earth and: 1- will be 16 years or older on the day of the Blessing Candidates for Blessing according to earthly age (spirits born before June 19, 2001) (spirits) 2- were liberated 100 days or more before the Blessing date (spirits who were liberated during the March 4~5, 2017 two- day workshop or before) *Both 1 and 2 need to be fulfilled

To apply for the blessing of unmarried spirits, it is necessary to come to Cheongpyeong to attend the Blessing Ceremony for Unmarried 1st Generation Spirits. If for any reason the person who liberated the spirit cannot come to Cheongpyeong in person, a representative (any church member who is 18 or over) may apply on his or her behalf. An individual participating on behalf of someone who has liberated an unmarried spirit may represent as many members as he or she wishes, and can also bless unmarried spirits he or she has liberated.

3. Things to Prepare A. Holy Ring and Holy Robe for the person attending the workshop (Holy Ring and Holy Robe for the spirit(s) are not required) B. Registration form (see attachment) 1) The Blessing must be applied for under the name of the person who applied for the liberation. Thus, one registration form needs to be filled out for each person who wants to bless the spirits they have liberated. (Please note that it is not one registration form per spirit, or one registration form per person who comes to Cheongpyeong to attend the workshop.) 2) If you did not specify a name when you applied for liberation (ex. younger brother who died right after birth, mother’s sister who died as a baby, etc.), you need to give them a name in order that they may apply for the Blessing. C. Registration fee: 30,000won 1) The registration fee needs to be offered for every registration form, even if the person applying has not come to Cheongpyeong. 2) The representative also needs to register and pay a registration fee for attending the workshop. D. Blessing donation of gratitude 1) The donation is per spirit. 2) The standard of the donation is based on the nationality of the spirit who will be blessed. 4. Important Points A. If you will ask a representative to participate on your behalf, please prepare the following well so there is no problem when the representative submits them at the registration window at the Cheongpyeong training center: 1) Registration form 2) Registration fee and donation

*Please do not send the registration form or donation directly to Cheongpyeong by e- mail, air mail, bank wire, etc. The participant in the Blessing Ceremony for Unmarried 1st Generation Spirits should bring the documents and submit them directly. B. Even if the liberation donation for generations 1-7 on the Father’s side have not been completed, it is possible to attend the Blessing Ceremony for Unmarried 1st Generation Spirits. C. If you are not sure about the age of the spirit at the time of passing, then please attend the Blessing Ceremony when you are sure that your spirit has reached the minimum age. D. If the donation for the collateral liberation for each unmarried spirit has not been completed yet, it must be offered in full at the time of registration for the Blessing. E. If you are not sure who applied for the liberation, please check with the international office in advance.

Registration form for Blessing of Unmarried Spirits 1374WS June 18, 2017 1- The blessing of an unmarried spirit must be applied under the name of the person who applied for the liberation of that spirit. 2- To apply for the blessing of an unmarried spirit, someone needs to attend the blessing ceremony.
