May the love and blessings of Heavenly Parent and True Parents be with all regions and mission nations. Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon’s Secretariat, the Department of Cultural Affairs and the Hyojeong Cultural Center will be hosting True Parents’ 2017 special workshop in the Hyojeong Cheonwon Complex to celebrate True Parents’ Birthday and the 4th anniversary of Foundation Day. This workshop is particularly meaningful because, in accordance with True Parents’ providence centering on culture and the arts, the workshop participants will get to practice and participate in various cultural education programs as well as the celebratory musical. This workshop will be a great opportunity to help develop cultural talent as well as offer devotion for True Parents’ Birthday and Foundation Day. We humbly request the wholehearted support of field leaders in enabling artistically gifted and artistically inclined CARP, Seonghwa students and other youths to participate in this workshop. 1. Workshop Name: True Parents’ 2017 Special Workshop in the Hyojeong Cheonwon Complex Unofficial name: “Inaugural Hyojeong Global Culture and Arts Workshop”

2. Workshop Duration: From 12.5 (Cheon Il Guk Year 4) to 1.14 (Cheon Il Guk Year 5) by the Heavenly Calendar (December 27, 2016 ~ February 10, 2017) ※ Seonghwa students may attend from January 2, 2017 in consideration of their winter vacation schedule.

3. Workshop Venue: Cheongpyeong Training Center and select venues in Hyojeong Cheonwon Complex 4. Participants: 300 Qualified CARP members, college students, Seonghwa students, youths, etc. A. College students and regular youths: 200 in total (Korea: 120, Japan: 50, Rest of the World: 30) B. Seonghwa students: 100 in total (Korea: 60, Japan: 20, Rest of the World: 20)

5. Qualifications: A. Workshop applicants must demonstrate exemplary faith and have excellent school grades B. Workshop applicants must demonstrate artistic ability and a good level of involvement in artistic endeavors such as church choir, theater plays, dance performances, and so on C. Workshop participants can be recommended by church pastors, heads of providential organizations, and so on

6. Workshop Fee: All workshop fees are covered by True Parents’ special grant

7. Workshop Program Highlights: A. Perform in two musicals and participate in the celebration of True Parents’ Birthday and the 4th anniversary of Foundation Day B. Education on the Divine Principle and True Parents’ life course C. Musical rehearsals D. Special lectures and educational programs focused on the ‘culture of heart’ E. Network and forge bonds of friendship with fellow artists from around the world F. Participate in the launching of the Hyojeong Culture and Arts Troupe

8. What to Prepare: Divine Principle book (3-color version), writing utensils, personal toiletries and medications, slippers, training shoes (absolutely necessary), proper pants (girls can bring skirts), pocket money and emergency money, white t-shirts, FM radio (for interpretation), and so on
