May our Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ blessings and love be with you all. “All blessed families of the Unification Church should become one centering on True Parents on the fourth anniversary of True Father’s ascension…. I hope it will be a festival at which we can all come together in harmony and solidarity.” In accordance with True Parents’ words on this coming Festival to Commemorate the Fourth Anniversary of the Universal Seonghwa of Sun Myung Moon, the True Parent of Heaven, Earth and Humankind on 7.17 by the heavenly calendar (August 19), the International HQ will be conducting the Hyo Jeong Peace Festival as an occasion through which all blessed families can share a culture of heart.
Purpose of Event: A. Internal Purpose: 1) To promote harmony and solidarity among all Unification Community members as we advance to achieve Vision 2020 2) To inherit the Hyo Jeong culture, which is based on True Parents’ tradition of filial piety 3) To develop a providential sense of ownership in blessed families worldwide
B. External Purpose: 1) To spread understanding of True Parents’ life achievements to all corners of the world 2) To create the external environment needed to achieve Vision 2020 (securing supporters and strengthening solidarity) 3) To spread the Seonghwa Ceremony culture and forge it into a brand
