With the fourth anniversary of True Father’s cosmic ascension approaching, FFWPU International HQ would like to announce the “Hyojeong Cheonwon (HJ天苑) International Workshop for CARP and Seonghwa Students Leaders”. IHQ humbly requests the full support of leaders in the mission nations in recruiting CARP and Seonghwa students for this exciting workshop. Please refer to the information below for details.

1. Event name: Hyojeong Cheonwon (HJ天苑) International Workshop for CARP and Seonghwa Students Leaders Hosted by True Parents

2. Workshop date: 6.29 ~ 7.19 by the heavenly calendar in the 4th year of Cheon Il Guk (August 1 ~ 21, 2016 )

3. Workshop venue: Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center and Hyojeong Cheonwon (HJ天苑) (Formerly known as Cheonwon) ※ HJ Cheonwon (HJ天苑) combines the acronym HJ for hyo jeong (孝情), meaning “heart of filial piety,” and Cheonwon which refers to the Cheonwon Complex.

4. Number of workshop participants: A. 1,000 qualified CARP members, college, university and Seonghwa students B. College and university students: 300 (Korea: 100, Japan: 100, Rest of the world: 100) C. Seonghwa students: 700 (Korea: 300, Japan: 250, Rest of the world: 150)

5. Participant qualifications: A. Each participant must have an exemplary standard of faith and a superior academic record B. Each participant must have had some leadership role in their church in their nation (e.g. Seonghwa student leader; CARP leader) C. Each participant must either be participating in or have completed a church program aimed at raising young leaders (Cheon Il Guk youth missionaries, STF, OLT, volunteer programs, etc.) D. Wonmo Scholarship recipients may attend this workshop E. Anyone strongly recommended by the national leader may attend this workshop

6. Participation fee: Participation fees will be covered by a special grant from True Mother

7. Workshop program highlights A. Participants will attend the event marking the fourth anniversary of True Father’s ascension. B. Participants will engage in interactive lectures on the Divine Principle, True Parents’ life course and hold hoondok sessions with the three Holy Scriptures of Cheon Il Guk. C. There will be a special ‘coming of age’ ceremony during which participants affirm their faith. D. Special sessions will be held during which participants can plan their career paths and develop leadership skills with the aim of contributing to the realization of Cheon Il Guk. E. There will be international student networking, exchanges between teenage and college students, sports competitions, rafting and other programs. F. Participants will go on a special pilgrimage around Korea. G. The executive committee of the International Seonghwa Students’ Association (tentative name) will be launched.

8. What to prepare Divine Principle (3-color version), FM radio, slippers for indoor use, sports shoes, dress pants (skirt), stationery, prescriptions, personal hygiene and grooming products, pocket money, white t-shirt(s)

9. Administrative matters A. Each region must inform the contact person of the number of participants from that region by July 15 B. A workshop participants’ list form should be submitted to the contact person by July 25 C. All participants may stay at the training center from July 31, 2016. Bus transportation from Incheon Airport to the Training Center will be provided. (More information on accommodation and transportation will be announced later) E. All participants should obtain travel insurance.
