This will be the first school of Oriental Medicine in Nevada. After several meetings with the State of Nevada Board of Oriental Medicine, WPHU was finally approved by the Board members unanimously on April 18, 2012, and is now entering the homestretch.
True Father has continuously shown great interest for this project and has purchased a facility for the school. True Father was residing in Las Vegas when the school was approved and was extremely happy to hear that the school has been approved unanimously.
WPHU will offer a 4 year program where students will learn Western Medicine, acupuncture, and herbal medicine. The school will run on a quarter system, and tuition is expected to cost approximately $15,000/year (4 quarters).
Applicants must have Bachelor’s degree prior to applying to the school. Upon completion of the program, students will graduate with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine and will able to sit for the Nevada licensure exam.
WPHU is making progress to hire the best quality faculty and is expected to open October 1, 2012.
We pray for True Parents’ blessings and love upon your family.
