Atlanta Church Welcomes Pastors Haruki Koshida and Clifton and Tiffany Gaines

On Sunday June 30, 2013, the Atlanta Family Church invited Rev. Gary Chidester, district pastor of the South Eastern Region Georgia to give the Sunday Service about evangelism and the growth in the church in the United States and to conduct a Transition Ceremony for the former and new pastors— Pastors Clifton and Tiffany Gaines and Rev. Haruki Koshida.

Pastors Clifton and Tiffany Gaines were honored as the transitioning pastors who have graduated from the position as the Atlanta Family Church Pastors for the previous two years and will begin the new position as the pastors of a new church planting in Atlanta, Georgia. The Pastor Couple shared their vision of their new, exciting mission.

USA, sent a video clip and recognized the outgoing pastors and related the effort of the new church plant to the current activity that has been undertaken internationally with True Mother’s guidance.

After the video, Celeste Koshida, the Atlanta Family Church Council Chair, introduced the new pastor, Rev. Haruki Kimura and his wife, Carmen. The Atlanta Family Church community elected Rev. Kimura and Rev. Chidester anointed him.

Then, I, Rev. Chidester, led the foot-washing ceremony and then Rev. Kimura and his wife washed the feet of two representative members of the community.

The whole Atlanta Family Church council took a picture with Pastors Clifton and Tiffany and the new pastor, Rev. Kimura.

Then, Mrs. Kimbembi “Mama” Koko was introduced as the assistant pastor. The church building was full. More of the congregation attended than they had for many years before. The spirit was so high, and there was a wonderful feeling of a fresh new beginning.
