The Purpose of this One Life

Regardless of what religion and nationality we belong or family status we are in nor whoever circle of friends we have, not even whom we know in the higher level of society matters, the fact is, all human beings are passing thru one unavoidable path from birth to death. It is a course that is absolutely taking place in human lives from the moment we came out from our mother’s womb until the time of leaving this mother earth. We call it “one life”.

One Birth & One Death: We can’t choose what nationality we will carry nor the country and date of our birth. We can’t even decide from what lineage we will belong to and who will be our parents and siblings are. Our birth is a destiny from heaven. It’s a fact!

The same holds true with death. We can’t choose the time & place of our departure nor the manner of how we will go. It is all decided by heaven not any one of us.

That’s why it is absurd to think and claim that “I am” the owner of this life nor I can do what I want to do about it. The time of our grand entrance to this earth and the time of our passing are solely decided by heaven because God is the absolute owner of this “one life”.

This will draw the conclusion too that suicidal case is one of the greatest sins from the viewpoint of heaven.

One Life: Knowing very clearly our life’s purpose and value is our top priority and the very basic thing to do. These 2 important points would give significant meaning to this one life assigned to us.

In a real sense, there is no created object which by itself knows its own design and intent except for its maker. Human beings are the same in this manner. Our purpose of life is only founded on God’s purposeful discretion & motivation of why He created us. We don’t have any choice on our own of what we want and how we want to live our lives because we don’t own it. We are all just care takers of this opportune gift that if we will live well according to our particular purpose would eventually lead us to our proper place in the eternal world and at the same time would determine our value on the face of the earth and in front of our Heavenly Parent.

Perfection of love is our purpose God is the absolute owner of the entire universe and the eternal parent of humankind. We were created in His image to be His true children hence we can say, there is no other most important desire any parent would have for their children except to resemble them. Since God is an absolute unchanging and eternal being of love, it is but His utmost wish that we perfectly resemble His personality of love & become absolutely one with Him as it is proven true by Jesus words written in Mt 5:48 & Jn 14:20.

Upon entering the era of Cheon Il Guk Foundation Day in 2013, True Mother gave a motto until 2020 encouraging us to become True Owners of CIG who practice true love in resemblance to our Heavenly Parent.

Why? For God to take dominion and embrace the entire creation in a corporeal world, God absolutely needs a substantial body that could be His perfect object fit to take its foothold on the earth. Without such external form God even how omniscient, omnipotent, almighty and great, by himself as an invisible being can’t act in full dominion over the world of creation. This maybe unbelievable to hear but in fact He purposely do that because He wanted human beings to take part in the creation of the ideal world to give us the greatest opportunity to be His partner as co-owner, co-creator & co-ruler of the entire universe as His children.

To become such necessary being, humankind needs to become His perfect object, a full resemblance of His personality and in resonance to His heart. To reach that level, we have to grow that love and achieved perfection in every level. This is what 4 great realms of heart is about.

Love is also growing and passing thru stages and developing in every level with specific characteristics and responsibilities.

To become one with God in perfect form, we must not just be loved by God, but learn to love as God loves. We must experience God’s love in all its designated levels

The development of the 4GRH enables individuals both male and female to become mature in heart, in character, behavior & lifestyle. It enables us to mature in our capacity to recognize & respond, to give and receive love from God towards others. It brought us to the level of being complete resemblance of our invisible Parent as their true sons and daughters.

Our MAIN responsibility is to perfect that image of God in us, to perfect the love of God through a loving process in a growing period enabling ourselves to be totally one with the purpose and intent of our original mind, the motivational force behind God’s creation. Therefore the most important and number one purpose of human lives is to resemble our Heavenly Parent’s personality of love. This in return, will be the basic foundation too of all our relationships with the rest of the creations. The 5%POR written in the Divine Principle is basically about this very important kernel point in our life of faith.

So in the era of re-creation while in the realm of Foundation Day Cheon Il Guk, our top priority is to become God’s children with heavenly dignity and absolutely confident that we have acquired that credentials in front of heaven & earth with True Parents’ seals of approval. This is what A/E failed to do. They didn’t become such children. Therefore, we are to fulfill what are the things that have to be originally accomplished in the original world of creation before the fall. This is our calling and utmost mission in life in the last course of the providential time period. ***
