Absolute Obedience and Fulfillment of Responsibility

It is an undeniable fact that after the Fall we lost (4 things) in the Garden of Eden: (1) God’s word & His trust (2) the material world (3) our position as children, and, (4) God’s parenthood.

While in the growing period, God didn’t relate to A/E directly but they were guided only thru the WORD as God’s manifestation until they would reach their maturity and perfection.

Compared with all the creations that grow naturally by just following the principle of creation, man is the only created being that God gave portion of RESPONSIBILITY to fulfill with and that is to OBEY the heavenly Will.

Though man is considered by science as the highest form of mammal, we have to clearly understand that there are 4 differences we have had with the animal world: (1) Man has the spirit that allows us to have eternal life (2) Man has the heart that relates & responds to the love of God (3) Man has the conscience that determines the truth & what is right & wrong, and, (4) Man has given responsibility that is essential part for man’s perfection, and, to become co-creator & co-ruler of God, our Heavenly Parent. Neglecting those 4 important points would drag us as just beautiful monkeys and handsome gorillas in the animal kingdom governed by science.

Obedience is the only responsibility required by God for A/E to completely inherit God’s position, authority & dominion. It is the only necessary condition for man to become God’s absolute partners of love and to become God’s substantial external form. However, we knew things were turned upside down due to man’s failure of not fulfilling his responsibility.

There are 3 kinds of OBEDIENCE 1. Sunjong (순종) = obedience with self reservation 2. Maengjong (맹종) = obedience with selfish motives 3. Bokjong (복종) = obedience with absolute submission of heart

The most important of the 3 is 복종 (bokjong) where we completely give ourselves up in following heavenly Will without any self reservation, complaints and self vested motives. 복종 is what we need to restore God’s TRUST. Since we don’t relate to God directly or with our TPs, the only best way of attending them is through “bokjong”.

From the proclamation of Foundation Day all blessed families who received the blessing were all placed in the position as newly born A/E and entered God’s providential time frame that is beyond the realm of the fall & indemnity which means, the completion stage, the final stage that A/E didn’t go through. Since this level was untraveled by fallen man, the most important requirement to fulfill is absolute obedience to God in order to restore what A/E failed to accomplish in their growing period.

Complain is the OPPOSITE of absolute of obedience. Any word of complain either spoken or just in thought, is already a destruction to our path to perfection. I cant forget True Parents’ words about this:

Don’t complain in your life of faith. You may say, “I reached my limit and can’t give anymore.” But, you can reach a conclusion, as to whether or not you can give more, only after you have done your very best – unto death. To complain means essentially to accuse God. However, because all men are indebted to God, and in the position that they must repay Him, human beings must never complain or say such things to God. Sept 11 1972 (Excerpt from Why We Have to Go Through Hardships)

Condition required in this New Age

We are traversing the cross-road of history and ushering the new age of Cheon Il Guk, the era paralleled to the completion stage, the level A/E didn’t get into because of the Fall, therefore we need to restore all the things they have failed to accomplish centering on LISTENING to God’s voice and obedience to God’s words ONLY.

Our True Mother have given us condition of 3 years mourning following True Father’s Seonghwa with an attitude of absolute unity with our True Parents with all our hearts, minds, body & spirit. A life without complain and a strong determination to fulfill our responsibilities categorized into 3Ps: personal = my family public = my tribe providential = God’s Homeland

As we are in the final realm of God’s dispensation, we need to be completely focus and absolutely united with our True Parents centering on True Mother. They are the only people who WENT BEYOND THE REALM of human fall and became the SUBSTANTIAL MANIFESTATION OF GOD. Apart from them there is no life. Activities that are not vertically connected to the call of the age are temporal and have no contribution to the advancement of the providence.

ONLY with our True Parents as the eternal center, the absolute standard of goodness, truth, lifestyle and faith, the hopes of the ages, can there be real success and true happiness where solutions to all worlds’ problems can be found.

Only with our absolute unity with them thru absolute obedience can a life of Filial Piety & Loyalty be practiced; and the fulfillment of our responsibility & the goals of our original course (the 3 great blessings) can be achieved successfully. ***
