Hyung Jin Moon and the Issue of Succession (updated)

1. In 1990.03.27 True Father said: True Mother is True Father’s representative

2. In 1992.04.11 True Father said: True Father is Rev Sun Myung Moon and True Mother is Hak Ja Han Moon and they are the TRUE PARENTS

3. In 2008.04.18 True Father in His benediction prayer for Hyung Jin Moon’s couple as successors of True Parents not just of True Father.

“True Parents do not have much longer to live, and they know how difficult it is to show to this couple the authority as the successors of True Parents. We pray sincerely that this family of Hyung-Jin can stay united with You unchangeably…

**ABSOLUTE Formula is True Parents = True Father + True Mother**

*If Hyung-Jin Moon’s couple is to succeed True Parents mission, it must be if both the figure in the equation are GONE.

*True Father never said Hyung-Jin Moon’s couple is to succeed True Father only but True Parents.

However True Father clearly said that True Mother is “HIS” representative and has “HIS” full authority.

*Is going to Spirit World means we lost the person? NO as an absolute answer! True Father transitioning to the Spirit World doesn’t mean the TRUE PARENTS are not with us EITHER.

As said by True Father on 1993.10.12 “When 2 are united into one, THEY CANNOT BE SEPARATED AFTERWARD. They live together for eternity after they die. In this way, the man whom the woman loved remains one with her in her heart. Likewise, within a man is his beloved wife.

*Considering the equation of the ABSOLUTE FORMULA of True Parents = True Father+ True Mother, because True Mother is still with us, PHYSICALLY, therefore, WE STILL HAVE TRUE PARENTS.

This equation can be proven true by True Father’s words when he said:

“Who is Messiah? Father and Mother. The True Parents” (1991.11.03). “True Parents are the perfected Adam and Eve” (True Parents and Ourselves 1972). “The True Parents have achieved ultimate unity” (2010 June 19). “Today is the 30th anniversary of Parents’ Day. This anniversary is particularly significant for True Mother. Thirty was the age Jesus began his public ministry. Although he was unable to accomplish his mission on the national level, I have set the conditions for the consummation of the True Parents’ mission, fully accomplishing my mission. After 30 years together, Father and Mother as the True Parents have completely laid the worldwide and universal foundation for the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.” (Parents Day and I 1990 March 27)

True Mother already is the Messiah along with True Father. In fact, True Father has declared to the world that “I, myself (True Father) and Hak Ja Han is the True Parent, the Savior and the Second Advent, and the Messiah of human kind.” (Declaration in front of the VIPs at the banquet of the World Culture and Sports Festival in August 24, 1992)

His time is not yet NOW as True Father mentioned in 1994 Nov 27:

The children’s unity with their Parents must work to bring about the unification of the nation, and indeed the nation itself. Until that time, there will be no inheritance made to children. Only when the nation emerges, can True Parents pass the inheritance to the children.

In 2011 April 4th, FATHER said: “The responsible person of the Unification church is not Hyung Jin or Kook Jin. On top of Hyung Jin there is Mother, and on top of her, there is Father. Do you understand? Do not forget this. An order starts from one.”

IMPORTANT POINTS:

In 2008 True Father prayed for Hyung-Jin Moon’s couple. In 2011 True Father emphasized on top of Hyung-Jin Moon is True Mother? why? Possibly True Father saw and had foreshadowed that a possible problem will occur due to misunderstanding of the 2 brothers about their positions in relation to True Mother. So when True Father was getting weak and old, he set the things straight through his words about the proper positions of who is really WHO when it comes to the issue of successor and line of authority!

True Father is giving us a warning and a chance to fully exercise our POR with regard to this matter.

IF he is to succeed True Parents what must he be? A King? A Master? An Authoritarian Leader?

What did True Father actually say?

“An heir of the heart is not an heir who just talks, or someone who merely appears to be an heir, or one who is having a good time; but rather the one who takes ownership of his parents’ sadness and suffering, agonizes and grieves in place of his parent, and struggles to establish the way to manifest the duty of loyalty and filial piety before Heaven. Only such people can stand as heir before Heaven.” (9-30, 1960.4.3)

“We must become as one body with our Parents. This is the commandment of children; to believe absolutely in what Father and Mother are doing” (1994.11.27)

“Without receiving True Parents heart, their character, their view of daily life, their view of the nation, and their worldview, all these things, we will not be able to stand in the central position. (28-247, 1970.1.22)

How does True Father define loyal and filial children?

“The filial sons and daughters who can lovingly relate to God even in the position of great misfortune must comfort the heart of the unfortunate head of the household, whether it is the king or the parents. Then such a son and daughter should single-handedly tackle all the problems surrounding the situation and solve them. Those having such a mind of loyalty and filial piety will go to the Kingdom of Heaven.” (19-300, 1968.3.10)

What the successor MUST be doing right now?

*To do what is the Parents’ WILL!

*To finish and complete the task necessary that have been left UN-OFFERED.

*The successor must offer that nation! How important that nation is for the successor’s position is what True Father said excerpted in his message last Nov 27 1994.

What are the problems now?

1. Hyung-Jin Moon failed to acknowledge the 2 PEOPLE True Father and True Mother who bequeathed to him the position that is NOT ABSOLUTE but with other “possibility” as in True Parents’ prayer He said “We pray sincerely that this family of Hyung-Jin *CAN stay united with You unchangeably*.”

2. Hyung-Jin Moon should be focusing on restoring that nation that TFs has been desiring to see that even if he could stay there just for a day, would be True Father’s GREATEST happiness in life.. However, his focus is far out of this very important goal!

3. Hyung-Jin Moon as supposed to be heir should be the model course of FILIAL PIETY and LOYALTY but on the contrary, maybe beyond his knowledge, he is not just diminishing True Mother only but giving shame greatly to True Farther too. 4. Hyung-Jin Moon as the heir should be the very first person who knows the Divine Principle, True Father’s words, God’s Heart and God’s Will but base on what he is doing now. He seems is NOT!

5. Hyung-Jin Moon as the heir should be the very person to manifest life of true love and a teacher of true love because as True Father said: (1991.11.03) “The mission of the Messiah is not to give money and provide a comfortable life. His responsibility and mission is centering on love.” But pertaining to the attitude and activities, it seems He is not. From the very definitions of True Love that True Parents have been teaching us through His principle and guidance and from what They are showing us through their lifestyle, we can only say one thing… Hyung-Jin Moon hasn’t possessed those characteristics at the moment.

In the last days, this confusion will surely come as predicted by True Father in 1961:

What True Father said about True Mother?

“Until now I did all the talking and Mother has been quiet. Now you can complain to me, why do I not let Mother speak. Until now she has been following like a shadow. But now the time has changed. Now is the time for you to attend Mother.” 1991.11.03

“True Mother is like my shadow. Since she is like the shadow that follows me around, I am the substantial subject founder, and True Mother is the object founder. So I am the first founder and True Mother the

second founder. Centering on what? Centered on Love.” (p116, May 6, 1990 “The absolute value of True Parents and the path of the tribal messiah”)

“Even if I die, True Mother has the ability to lead the Unification Church, so the time will come when True Mother will give sermons. When this time comes, you must have absolute obedience towards True Mother. Once she decides, the determination to clear up the difficult history of “han” in her own lifetime is stronger for True Mother than me. True Mother has become the owner of cleaning everything up, so if you become a Unification family member who can see the importance of True Mother over me, you will receive much grace.” (p351-352, True Parent’s Life Course 10)

“The time has come when you must unify into one centering on True Mother. So even if True Father is gone, True Mother is given the privilege. When True Father is not here, you must think of True Mother. Please understand this, and have the heart to attend True Mother in your hearts instead of me, and give prayers like this. You have loved me until now, but you must love True Mother from now on. Here I declare to the world, and to Heaven and Earth that if I am the first leader, True Mother is the second leader.” (p265-310, November 27, 1994 Selection of True Parent’s words)

“There is only one tradition! It is centered on True Father! Don’t be affected by any other person’s words. You must not follow anything besides the words taught by True Father, and the words about the principle by True Father. Now, centering on True Father, I have set True Mother. When I go to the spirit world, you must absolutely become one with True Mother as the absolute center. The path True Mother must live now and must be centered on the Words and speeches I have given. There will be no forgiveness if any other words are spoken.” (p68, “Blessing” Summer 1995 Edition)

“From now on, there will be no problems for True Mother alone to live God’s will without True Father. Until now it was not possible for woman to stand as the leader of the providence representing Heaven and Earth. But now centering on the ideal oneness with the parental love, the realm of the liberation of women centering on True Mother has been declared on earth for the first time in history. So even if I am alone I Represent True Parents, and even if True Mother is alone, she represents True Parents. “The True Mother, who has been in the position of following after the True Father, has for the first time in history come to stand in an equal position. Through her worldwide declaration of the liberation of women, the True Father and the True Mother will take their children, go before God, and inherit all the authority and power of heaven. They will establish the original family, and reclaim the tribe, race, nation, world and cosmos, and reorganize the perfect world of God’s will. All men are in the position of the archangel. Therefore, they stand in the position of having to give back all women. Women stand in the position of being the extension of the True Mother, the perfected Eve. From the position of the extension of Eve and on the condition of becoming one with the True Mother, they come to the condition of becoming one with the True Father. “You have heard ‘Heavenly Father,’ but have you heard ‘Heavenly Mother’? Without heavenly father and mother, there can’t be sons and daughters.” “When the only begotten son comes, it would be a disaster if he were to live alone. There has to be an only begotten daughter. The only begotten daughter must be found “ (Aug. 2008)

“True love is the thing that God likes the most. It is the love that the Messiah likes. Who is Messiah? Father and Mother. (Nov. 3, 1991) “You must go through Father and Mother and inherit their life to be able to go to Heaven.” (1993) “We must become as one body with our Parents. There is only one couple of True Parents in heaven and on earth: There is only one root and trunk from which all branches and leaves come out. …there can only be one pair of True Parents.
