Reflections of our Members on the Lecture: "Witnessing Mission towards Vision 2020"

I was invited to give lecture on some regions for the month of June and I believed a great understanding about our important mission - “Witnessing”, is very necessary in order to bring substantial results. ~winnycayme~

Schedules: Busan (June 1), Daegu-Kyeongbuk (June 22), Kyeongnam (June 28), Ulju Ulsan (June 29).

Some reflections were shared by the participants:

My name is Brandon Penn. I’m 24 years old. I came to Korea in November 2013 as an Academy English teacher to young elementary-age students.

I am an energetic, perserving, and positive individual that likes to laugh, worship, and dance. I am social and love having interactions with different people and cultures. I first met my spiritual mother, Tomiyo Schrattenecker, when she introduced me into the local Unification Church after I assisted her at my store at my former computer retail job. I had been wanting to reactivate the fire of my faith for a long, spiritually stagnant period. And Mrs. Tomiyo gave me the wonderful opportunity to do so. The very first day I had gone to the church, True Mother herself gave a special talk in Japanese. I am very grateful that my life had changed for the better after having met my spiritual mother, and her husband, Joseph Schrattnecker, who is the head pastor of the Columbus, Ohio Unificationist Church.

My reflection regarding Bishop Winny’s seminar: It was one of the most powerful and spiritually empowering lectures that I’ve ever experienced at any church in my life, even though I am still young. I am faithful, but I am young and lacking in experience. So, it has been difficult for me to know, more or less, about exactly what I should do to reach the ultimate goal of salvation in God’s Kingdom of Heaven. Bishop Winny’s message concerning witnessing as being the key, and how to go about doing in dutifully in order to sow property rights in Heaven, was enlightening. I have been wanting to spread the Divine Principle to others, and her seminar enabled me to know what I should do in order to achieve that as a part of the Vision 2020 mission.***

Rudy Suasin - an OFW in Daegu City First I was so happy to see once again our sisters from different local churches whom I haven’t seen for a long time. During our revival seminar with Bishop Winny, I’m so blessed and fortunate to hear the guidance on how to do witnessing effectively, on how to raise new spiritual children, educate them and to let them receive the holy blessing from TPs. The lecture was so inspiring. I hope we can create miracles. …to bring witnessing results…for vision 2020. **

Violy Abanil - Daegu Coordinator This is the First Joint Daegu and Kyeongbuk revival seminar by Bishop Winny. I personally was greatly reminded once again of our responsibility and challenge towards vision 2020. The different topics were given that emphasized the necessity of our internal foundation (faith) and external work (substance) which are all related to the Divine Principle and from viewpoint of building Gods nation. These were important things to do for the sake of bringing results in the year 2020. The topic gave us more understanding on how God’s has been working tirelessly so that all people can receive the blessing and become CIG citizens. Its emphasis is on the foundation of witnessing. Bishop Winny reminded us by Father Words” that witnessing is not to bring members for our church only but it is making a foundation that God can be proud of us for how many lives we will be saved” I hope each one of us will truly work and be united with one another so that we can bring result as offering to Heavenly Parents. ****

Helen -Pohang Coordinator I realized that all blessed families must necessarily do witnessing for the sake of the ancestors of all human beings. We must tell them the truth with confidence. Spiritual children determine our position in the spirit world. ***

Jessie Lagunero - Pohang, Kyeongbuk Bishop Winny’s lectures for me were heartistic, a true guidance for our mission and inspirations based on True Parents words applied in her true to life experiences and real situations of where we are at in this period. I believed God is with us in our hearts if we experienced more difficulties. Without difficulties we can’t experience God’s heart. Therefore, indemnity and sacrifices are normal occurrences in our lives therefore we must be thankful and think God’s heart suffering always. Heart is the temple of God. Thats why I believed that the lecturer is chosen by God and have heart to heart with God. Why? Because on that day her guidance and inspirations

healed my upset feelings and I believed God comforted me through her. The topics made me grow again and increased my knowledge and understanding about our goals and portion of responsibilities. The seminars also gave us, the opportunity to realize our mistakes especially our fallen natures. The more I got inspired on True Mother’s vision 2020. Witnessing is the best way we can find real happiness, will make us spiritually sensitive to the love of God and our heart will be full of love. The lecture helped me believe that my dream to become a great person is achievable by working seriously at this very important period of God’s providence. Aju! ***

Lucita Calinawan - Kyeongbuk The Revival Seminar really revived my spirit. Thanks a lot Bishop Winny for giving a lecture that push the spirit to work. Through the lecture, I felt so sorry to Heavenly Parent and True Parents for being lax and not seriously doing my responsibilities. Truly the difficulties in life have made me forget joining any church activities. Now, I’m back to my senses, having the same spirit when I first joined the church. Been re-reading the notes I have jotted down during the lecture and sharing it to my friends online. Now I have been witnessing too also to my friends here in our place by distributing the books given by Sis Helen Bayon. I also thanked Jovy for always following up on me.

By the way, I distributed books during our Topik Hangeul Class; my friend told me that she has been reading my posts in facebook about True Parents. Another friend from India asked me too to tell him more about True Father. They were reading it all! And I am currently witnessing also to a friend’s friend who happens to comment on my post and he said he would be convinced if I could present him verses about why Jesus should have a bride… Thanks a lot for the lecture… for me IT IS A GREAT REMINDER.

Jovy Marzan - Kyeongbuk Coordinator After attending the revival lecture of Bishop Winny I deeply understood more about what is witnessing and why it is very important.

What? “witnessing is a process to restore ourselves from the position of fallen man to the position of God’s children”. In my realization, as we do witnessing it is also a process to “실천 “ means to practice the word that TPs taught us and we read in hoondokhae as our spiritual food. Thru this we can only be perfected individually from fallen man and returned to God’s bosom as his children.

Why? We were blessed by TPs and were taught “참사랑” means LOVE. Cheon Il Guk is not only the time to 실천 or practice the word but to share the blessing. Witnessing is to “구원” to save souls from Satan’s side until the Kingdom of God will be realized both in Heaven and on Earth.

On behalf of Kyeongbuk Region I would like to express our gratitude and love to Bishop Winny who always unconditionally giving her effort and devotion to educate us PBMK members internally. We have always received spiritual nourishments and a PUSH every time you speak and because of this we are looking forward for more internal guidance lecture..

Genesis - Miryang - Kyeongnam Honestly my spirit was revived because of the guidance I have learned in the seminar. It was something I have been longing for to receive. Like a baby who needs some milk to grow and plants which need water to nourish. During the workshop, one of my invited guests joined at that time. She is not a member but she was awed and got very inspired about your message. She realized that money should not be the priority in life but our relationship with God. So if we can still smile even though we don’t have money the blessing will still come to us. That’s her reflection. You have inspired all of us for sure and have pushed our sleeping spirits to wake up and move for the sake of Vision 2020 and even in that seriously strong guidance for the members, you were able to make those non-members in the audience relate to the message of True Parents. Liza Uy - Kyeongnam Coordinator I was so inspired of the lecture about the topic “Our Mission”. Actually I really need to revive my spirit. Even though that I knew my mission but I need to refuel it again in order to go on forward. Just the plants need water and sunlight in order to grow, my spirit needs continuous guidance too. Thank for the reminders that we have to really work hard and witness more for vision 2020. I will do my best to bring blessing candidates for this year. Gloria Barsagas - Onyang-Ulju Coordinator Blessed Families as citizens of CIG is a “Big Name & very Precious. In Bishop Winny’s lectures, she elaborated well the mission, responsibilities and activities for Vision 2020. Asking myself.. How can I fulfill this? This time we are in difficult situation and anytime the providence can be ruined in one click. I determined not to surrender but only march forward. I believe everyone has their own time for everything and reasons for every situation. Patience and understanding is necessary for me at this very moment.

Vision 2020 should be my focus. This time is very delicate in fulfilling our responsibilities. The lectures have helped me in making plans for the future for the sake of bringing substantial results. I believe, all the conditions and circumstances I am going through this time are all preparations and necessities I need to succeed and support Heavenly Parents.

The inspirations from Heavenly Parents, the guidance of True Parents and mobilization of the spirit world plus the people who continually give inspirations are all the things I need to be grateful for…*****

Bazil Teraza - Ulsan Junior Lecturer In a God-given time, everything is precious. In whatever circumstances we are in as a member of the family who knows the truth, our great task is to go hand in hand towards Vision 2020. Although our situations are telling us to secure our own family first but we should not forget the mission of restoring the people who haven’t known yet the principle. This responsibility should be engraved in our hearts always.

True Father had set an example for all of us, but if we don’t believe it, the price of indemnity that awaits us is really scary. There are still times for us to to do our responsibilities. We just need to make a new start, new determination and go forward to witness and witness. We should not complain about other’s not doing the things they should do, instead help one another and go together in one direction to fulfill the goals and bring success for the realization of Cheon Il Guk and for the glory of True Parents as these are the greatest gifts we can offer to heavenly Parent.****
