Greetings to the Hyojeong Youth Blessing Festival hosted by True Parents

Dan: Greetings to all the thirty thousand powerful young leaders from all backgrounds assembled here for the Hyojeong Youth Blessing Festival hosted by True Parents.

My wife Samia and I are very excited to be with you today, because we are making history together with Mother Moon, the founder of this global movement for peace. Together with her leadership, she is influencing the world in two ways: First, she is bringing into focus faithful marriage and the family, which is the fundamental building block of a great society. Second, she is bringing a global realization among the leaders of the world that enemy nations can achieve peace.

Many of the most influential people throughout the world from business, politics, media, religion and entertainment are astonished and inspired by the fact that she has the wisdom and warmth of love that creates an atmosphere where enemies can come together and find ways to cooperate for peace.

We understand that twelve thousand of you are getting engaged and preparing for the historic Blessing Ceremony on April 25. Congratulations! True love is what it is all about. My wife and I rededicated our marriage with Mother Moon’s prayer and blessing, and now Samia says I am a much better husband. [To his wife] That is right, isn’t it

I want you all to know that if you follow the teachings of Mother Moon on marriage and family, you will be sure to have God’s blessing for a most happy, loving life. As you know, love is the most beautiful part of life when it is trusted and secure. That is why we encourage all to maintain purity before marriage.

When your love is committed, you become secure in true love and you never betray one another. You build a love that is trustworthy. Marriage and family are the most beautiful and central purpose of life, and through the blessing you will influence others to marry with the commitment of living for the sake of their children and for the community. This clearly creates a better community and nation.

And always remember, you should treat each other like you want to be treated. Husbands, treat your wife like she is precious, and wives, treat your husband like he is a man of honor. We want to encourage you today. You can change this world by being strong for God and family. And finally, thank you, Mother Moon, for leading this world toward strong families and peace.

My husband and I are so grateful for Mother Moon. Her leadership for peace is so significant and her encouragement for all to be blessed and create faithful marriages is the most beautiful thing in the world.
