European Goals & Objectives 2 ii) Proper balancing of FFWPU & UPF

2005-2009 UPF predominates

2009-10 FFWPU predominates & status of UPF unclear

2011 FFWPU remains in subject position but UPF role & importance clear

Rebalancing FFWPU & UPF in Europe

1. All 36 nations to have UPF Secretary- General & UPF activities 2. All communities to have UPF activities and UPF responsible person 3. UPF in all nations & communities to contribute to European and international level

2 iii) The importance and value of ILCs and ELCs 1. Main development through God’s word (“education, education, education”) 2. Inspired Afps will act wisely, well & often 3. ILCs are main way that key AfPs can develop a relationship to TPs 4. Nations & Communities that send participants to ILCs develop well

ILC’s & ELCs in 2011 1. ILCs Only known ILC is at time of Wongu Peace Cup in mid October. We have 7 months to invite highest level people. 2. ELCs Some key parts of the programme are in place. Others to be finalised in Prague

• President Song guiding us to plan one European UPF event each month in 2011 . • These should develop a strong European Peace Council

• Events should be held in major European cities using Parliaments, UN facilities and public institutions for the Conferences.

• Suggested locations include: • London – Houses of Parliament • Paris – UNESCO • Berlin – Bundestag • Geneva – UN • Vienna – UN • Brussels – EU or National Parliament • Budapest – National Parliament • Oslo – National Parliament • Japan – human rights issues • Korea – Blessing preparation • Dublin Emmaus Centre and Dail • Malta – Parliament

ELC programme in 2011 Main Themes suggested for 2011

1. Peace-building and conflict resolution strategies and good practice – forgiveness & reconciliation (interfaith emphasis but also other approaches)

2. Family Policy – (preparation/support etc)

Possible format for ELC programme 2011 10 Conferences – January, March, April, May, June, August, September, October, November, December • Secure high level speakers from among existing AfPs and new contacts. • Goal 120 participants each month (1200 for 2011 as a whole) • Each Community and nation to fulfill 1/1/1 (send one participant per month) • Papers presented in the themed conferences to be published and distributed

2. v)The importance of Peace Councils True Father has said that when we bring 120 AfPs from each of 10 categories (religion/interfaith, politics, academe, business, NGOs, professions, women, The Arts, military, media) together to form a National Peace Council we can truly change the nation’s destiny

Education is the key

v) Developing work in the political area

TPs desire is to create a kind of Global Parliament for Cheon Il Guk

Global network of ‘Parliamentarians for Peace’

Parliamentarians are ESSENTIAL for an effective national Peace Council

The “King of Kings” needs Kings who are his loyal objects 2 iv) Working with CURRENT European Heads of State & Government

True Father must hold an event for at least 40 current and 80 former Heads of State & Government before January 13/13

Vaclav Klaus President of Czech Republic attended Washington Times event ( 2009)

Bamir Myrteza Topi 5th President of Albania

Viktor Orbán Current Prime Minister of Hungary

vii) Developing AfP understanding & involvement We must find ways to raise up AfPs to point where can fulfill TPs expectations (incl. Blessing & even FFWPU membership

TPs treat AfPs no differently than us

We need to create an education stream and development plan for AfPs

We should expect a visit from our International Chairman in 2011

And very likely a visit from our Beloved True Parents as well!!!!!!! Aju!!
