Reincarnation vs returning resurrection

Reincarnation is a next battle to be fought in our path to building Cheon Il Guk under our Heavenly Parents.

There are several grounds on which to fight this erroneous belief, but the most fundamental of these is based on the understanding of God’s Heart as the base to life’s meaning.

Heart is the sine qua non to understanding life, our existence, etc. Love is meant to grow eternallyi, even in the spirit world after we shed our bodies.

There will be not only religious and spiritualists’ opposition to the idea that there’s no reincarnation, but also the psychiatric and medical world who don’t believe in the spirit. In popular psychiatry through hypnosis, doctors perform life regression sessions where reincarnation is very much touted. Returning resurrection is not a recognized concept; it was discovered and given to us by True Parentsii.

Our world today has many spiritual people claiming to have been people of fame such as Cleopatra, etc, in one of their past lives, and that they are now another reincarnation. According to Principle people do come back, but not as reincarnations. In the mid 1980s, especially in 1983, we read that True Parents very much pushed the need for spiritual members, he wanted 3 in every stateiii.

These spiritually open people channel departed beings from the past, and possibly not even from earth. These spirits could be from years, decades, centuries or even millennia ago, or more. Providentially, there’s a purpose for these phenomena. God or True Parents don’t need to reteach what has been taught in the past. These people paid their share of indemnity to learn or achieve and promote what Heaven asked of them. The departed will find a person who they can work through, to finish their responsibility while our True Parents are on this earth. They are looking for merit to accomplish what had been asked of them; it’s their offering.

Heavenly Parent also needs to teach people in their physical bodies what to expect in spirit world, and so prepare for it.

In a speech Father once told us that when we go to spirit world we will be asked where we

were fromiv. The answer they will be looking for is not a nation here on earth like Korea or America, but ‘earth’. Why? There are countless stars and galaxies across the cosmos harboring humans; some looking different from us, and others similar.

These beings are also coming down to earth to help us, tell us of their history or background, or help us advance to our next stage in our spiritual growth, evolution. While it may look and feel like we’re reliving a past experience, indeed we are merely being given the experience someone else had. Those people coming down to us in spirit world still have all their family and friends from when they were in a physical body.

How can we carelessly say good bye, effectively erase and deny all the love and care that over a lifetime made us who and what we are, including all our experiences and the mission Heavenly Parent gave us while we were in our physical bodies, and say we will start anew? It would be more in line with heart to say that we are coming down for a period to share in the experiences and lessons of our mission while we were in the physical for the benefit of those presently on earth. Also, how could we break old bonds, just out of a whim? When that’s over and our mission is done, we go back home to our loved ones. I’ve heard the host person is at times called 2nd generation or second coming, in part because they have the same mission.

Love and heart Love and heart are designed to be eternal and to forever grow. The purpose of life is love. We came into existence because of love. We grow through our parents and family love, by giving and receiving. We live our lives amidst all the love given to and by friends. We marry and have children, and later have more descendants because of the give & take (receive) of love. I.E., love is the core of peace; love is the meaning of our life, so it must be eternal for stability.

When we think of wars, disharmony at home and in society, when we see breakdown as everyone recognizes, it’s because love ceases to manifest, live. No one questions the absolute need for love, because it’s the purpose of our existence, whether we’re conscious of it or not.

The scientific, including the medical field, doesn’t take these abstract, emotional, yet all important factors into consideration when expressing an opinion. They can’t see or measure love, so it doesn’t count. The visiting spirit talks of his / her experiences so they talk in the first person. It’s a returning resurrection, not a rebirth. When their mission is complete, the spirit simply goes back to his home in the spirit world, and the host continues his life. Life continues as usual for both participants. Each temporarily plays a role; for a short time their lives are intertwined.

As when we’re in the body we feel responsible to achieve goals, so when we are in the spirit we continue with that heart and mind. This makes us come down to finish business on earth. Our knowledge or expertise is passed on.

Thus, looking at all important aspects of our lives, we see that the invisible element we call love is the basis for our understanding of everything going on around us.

A bit of background The Israelite nation was raised for 2000 years to receive Jesus. Jesus came with love, to give God’s love. He was rejected; crucified. God painfully worked His providence to again send the messiah, True Parents. After shedding blood, sweat & tears, and giving their lives, they succeeded. They achieved in setting the foundation for establishing the Cheon Il Guk on the cosmic level, which is based on love.
