Visualizing Satan A personal view

Nick Bikkal Let me start with a disclaimer. This view is not about religion nor beliefs. I’ve studied True Parents words and other texts. I separate religion from what evidence I find giving me more insights and leading often to different conclusions.

I hope this topic doesn’t scare anyone. I’m writing it because I feel I have to. I wrote a paper stating God never created an angel. Ample evidence exists that angels are purely symbolic, and that they were used extensively in place of peoples names, people who for some reason or other were not named. In the paper I give much evidence for what I’ve stated. Directly and indirectly the Divine Principle and other literature make reference to this point.

The Divine Principle names Swedenborg twice. He spent thirty years studying spirit world, and mentions in no unclear terms that angels are in fact humans to went to spirit world and reached positions of high respect. I.E., angels are titles of honor.

Ms. Young Oon Kim, the first missionary True Parents sent to the US also wrote an article on angelology stating the source of angel worship, Zoroastrians. The Bible mentions that when people are properly aligned they can directly communicate with Heavenly Father.

People claim to have guardian angels and to speak with angels. Father uses the term angelic world. How does this fit in with the above? Swedenborg mentioned that angels are people, good people. Angel is a title. Good people do not necessarily follow True Parents or know the Principle, thus True Parents had to go to spirit world and clean up the angelic world. They most eagerly would follow True Parents once they met and understood.

I’m going to use visualization and other techniques to make my points. In earlier papers I mentioned that God never created an angel. In fact, there are angels, but not in the traditional religious sense. As I mentioned before, the existence of traditional understanding of angels isn’t possible, speaking in pure Principle terms simply because they never had a body in which they could grow and develop their minds and hearts, i.e., they wouldn’t be able to maturei.

So, if the angel never existed, what about the Fall, billions of people will ask.

Below I hope to make this clear. True Parents have said they believe in science; so much so, that along with religious, restoration activities they occupied themselves with science and technology. Human history has progressed with the separation of the two, science and

religion, in great part because of the extensive figures of speech such as allegory, parable, simile, metaphor, personification, antithesis, pun, anthropomorphism, riddle, alter ego, etc. that are used to teach lessons of the heart and mind.

I will visually try to explain the Fall and our sinful nature outside the realm of religion, if it’s possible.

Let’s start with the Fall itself.

I’m going to start with a simple domino video. Domino chain reaction. Principle metaphorically likened that the Fall to a train being pushed off its tracks when an external force pushed itii. The tracks were Adam & Eve’s life under God, growing to perfection. We never quite hear of a repeated external attack by the original Satan. He was always around, though. His long term products were always around, fallen humankind.

The above video shows several things. The first domino was tiny, 5mm in height and 1mm thick. It fell on the next domino roughly 1½ times larger. The second and subsequent dominoes in similar fashion fell on the following one, 1½ times its own size. Ultimately it had a major effect. The original small impulse was all it took to push over the 13th domino weighing about 100 lbs (~45 kgs), some two billion times its initial energy. Over time the Fall has created such an enormous problem for Heavenly Parents. There have been well over 13 dominoes since the beginning.

In the subsequent dominoes after the initial one causing the first fall, the energy grew. The (satanic) forces created larger problems with each expanded Fallen level. See it as the multiplication of satanic forces from the individual to the family to the clan, etc., levels. We’re now at the cosmic level.

There was no extra outside force necessary for all the next dominoes to fall. It all started with a minuscule fall, metaphorically the original Fall. It was such a major catastrophe in its minuteness. We’re still dealing with it’s effects today, untold hundreds of thousands or even many millions of years after the original separation from God. When? Where? All too distant to really know.

The Fall Satan’s heart from the start was to viciously attack God, to purposefully hurt God where it hurt most, killing His children. The Principle says the angel didn’t receive less love from before, but they compared themselves to Adam & Eve who were receiving more than it wasiii. Were Adam & Eve hybrids!? Did they have higher missions!?

When and where did the original Fall occur, and was it merely a sexual deviation? We don’t know. Our separation from Heavenly Parents ended in sexual misconduct. In the Book of Enochiv we read 200 men, Anunnaki / Nephilim, took wives, daughters of men, for themselves. This has several implications. It was not rape since the woman in the Bible, Eve, was blamed, i.e., it was consensual. An unanswered question of mine has been why didn’t anyone repent? True Parents have said if Adam & Eve had repented God would’ve forgiven, avoiding painful fallen history. In that society no one repented. Why? Repentance like we have today existed throughout history. God could have forgiven. However, no one repented!? Could these beings have been that disconnected from God? Might this new race have not been educated about God? True Parents have said they did have original minds. Could the Anunnaki / Nephilim control of their minds have been so complete? There are such stories in Sumerian texts, where our minds were shut to other than their orders; it was part of the original design. Strong unheavenly tradition today, in all parts of the world, are remnants of this blockage. God can’t come in.

Biblical Adam & Eve are a metaphor, a simple story, easy to describe, fairytale style, etc. The original story is very complex, still largely unknown, and difficult to describe; probably difficult to believe.

Sexual impropriety had existed since early time. Early history doesn’t show any signs of heart of love, as Heavenly Father would have wanted of His children. From long ago, it would seem God’s children were separated from God’s Heart. Why?

If earlier people had not already been separated from God’s Heart, the untold atrocities would not have taken place before the Anunnaki / Nephilim stories of creating slaves or servants; and the Adam & Eve Fall story would not have taken place at the beginning of our human history. I.E., the spiritual Fall took place long before the Adam & Eve story.

What was so different about Adam & Eve? My belief is that Adam & Eve were part of a chosen people and that they were the ones tainted by outsiders. These were the daughters of menv, as Enoch called them. Seducing these women was a major sin. Look at how Japanese seduction of Koreans, the chosen people, during the occupation is strongly condemned in the Principle. Even in 2021 we are still dealing with this issue. Israelites also were told to keep their race pure, etc. People within a race or religion often are told to only marry among their own.

After the Fall What took place after the Fall? How does that work? Is the original Satan still pushing

dominoes? Let’s look at some ideas:

•. Satan changes character with situation. Satan is not a single personality acting as enemy of God. From the elemental sexual Fall to self destruction, smoke, drugs, alcohol, porno, gambling, etc., Satan does whatever he can do to destroy God’s children.

•. Another hint given to us can be read in a speech Father gave in .. Father speaks of Satan as He & they even within a paragraph in a speechvi.

•. In Principle we read the angel was jealous that God’s children were specialvii. Satan decided to kill God’s children. The Anunnaki / Nephilim consciously went and aimed to destroy Heavenly Father’s Heart. A question remains, how much lower, how different, were the servants, angels turned Satan, to Adam & Eve? What characterized them as different or lower, or Adam & Eve as higher? I question if the Anunnaki / Nephilim didn’t have a hint that their creation, who they hated even before creating it/them, would be higher. They began making their creation with the forethought that they’d be slaves. In our societies today we see tension among races, religions, nationalities, etc. There tends to be mutual acceptance and tolerance. However, there are also the extremists who will go out of their way to

•. The Unification Thought text never mentions angels, though it mentions the Fallviii.

•. A few people decided to rebel and go against God’s chosen people. They admittedly did so against the desires of the elders. They promised to band together and were prepared to face judgment as a group. This tells me the desire to destroy God’s chosen wasn’t universal in that society. A few begrudged Igiki may have been the culprits. The original Anunnaki / Nephilim people may have been indeed loyal to Heavenly Parents. The igiki seemed to be the lower class among these people.

We all know Satan is real. Although the Unification Thought never mentions angels, we know Satan is real. How does this work? How does a being who isn’t real manifest and seemingly control us? True Parents spoke of electricity, even saying that if Jesus had gone to school he too would have studied electricity.

Inside our physical body we are a (+) magnet waiting to find a (-). Thoughts carry emotions and intent. Our ancestors and other spirits in spirit world, having lost their physical bodies, so they are the (-) magnet. Alternatively, using radio analogy, in our physical body, we emit radio frequencies, which receptors, which include spiritual beings as well as still embodied spirits, receive. In a physical body, we connect to our inner spiritual energy. vi

Give & take (receive) between the original emitter and receptors create, reinforce or excite the original energy. This newly created force builds on the original to the point that it overwhelms, controlling the original. When this force is negative or unprincipled, this energy becomes what we call Satan. I.E., Satan now starts in us, our minds and attitudes. This is due to the Original Sin we’re born with. In other words, we no longer need the original perpetrator(s). Like in the domino analogy, humans carry the fallen energy, or poison.

Satan is the expanded negative force we have created, conscious or not, as individuals, families, societies, world and even cosmos. Ultimately, strong satanic forces will fight other ones. Like strong magnets, we first create then attract forces. Here’s where our purity is all important. We must create no negative or unprincipled energy; in other words, in purity, negative (Satanic) forces can’t find receptors in us.

Satan at work We can see that satanic attacks actually are our own energies finding receptive minds, either in the physical world or in the spirit world, or both, through whom we have give & take (receive), build negative common bases, and expand. To the extent these energies grow, we allow Satan to control us, then possibly others. I.E., we become Satan. We create evil. Satan caused our Fall, now it’s us, the inheritors of sin and fallen nature, whether on individual or social or world level, who create evil; we are Satan’s base until we’re 100% 90° centered on Heavenly Parents. This is a copy of True Parents saying we are to be little Sun Myung Moons and Hak Ja Hans.

The historic image of an external force just haphazardly invading individuals is incorrect. Like in other traditional religious thoughts, it totally absolves us of any wrong; we’re passive sheep being attacked by hungry wolves. Actually, to sin, all we need is to have Original Sin as the base, and thus evil exists.

In the same vein that we need to pray and invite God inside ourselves to love, forgive, heal, etc., we invite negative energies, centering on negative thoughts and feelings (a form of negative prayer), to grow in us, then in others. In its greatest form, this leads to wars.

Going back to the domino analogy again, the initial impulse was the original sin. After that, sin can be any unprincipled thought: an unpleasant event, action, feeling, etc. Evil starts in us. As long as we have give & take (receive) with it, we have magnetized ourselves in a negative way. We’re ready to attract similar thoughts and let evil multiply.
