Beyond religion (Includes: News World ET supplement and spirit world machine)

Religion is all important today, and has been ever since the Fall of man. Like it or not, want it or not, we must go through it. If we don’t pass through it on this plane we’ll do it in the next world. The ultimate intent and goal is to restore our hearts and minds going through True Parents. In religious terms it’s having our original sin removed.

Let’s step outside religion. The Torah, Bible and Koran were written for the above stated purpose. They were not intended to be science nor to replace science nor to compete with science. The style of the holy books is anything but straight forward. We can clearly see the Greek influence in the style. The texts read like Greek tragedies. It would seem we were going through a series of plays.

Some science did exist several thousands of years BC. Leaders of clans, tribes and nations were more interested in maintaining order, popularity, power, etc than educating and building a people prepared to consume and create a prosperous economy. Society was well controlled. Controlling minds was an art.

Remember we’re talking about Satan’s world.

Rather than uniting into one harmonious nation or world, families, clans, tribes and nations only thought of outdoing the opponent; competition.

Some societies adopted gods, and the leaders positioned themselves as their representatives or even descendants. The North Korean Kim dynasty is an example of this very way of thinking, but on steroids as they say. Kim Il Sung is the god; all others must follow. His descendants and North Koreans worship him as such.

Myths were a way to have people believe in the leader, making sure the minds don’t stray. Build awe, respect, fear, etc. Whatever it took to keep society in order was fair game. Cultural and even racial identity was integral to solidifying the leader’s position.

Over time we get many strange, even today culturally incredible stories.

Around the world we have corroborating stories of floods, people called to escape the impending devastation; people claiming that their makers, gods, were from a distant star or that they were Androgynes. Even the Bible speaks of giants, as do peoples from lands scattered throughout today’s world.

Cultural wall Now, even in the 21st century we have a cultural wall impeding the acceptance of these stories. Religion tells us a different story. Here’s a problem.

As mentioned above, religion is not science. Religion is meant to exist for restoration. However, many people don’t see it this way and so don’t dare go against religion for fear of Heaven’s retributions. When God speaks no one contradicts His word. It’s understandable.

While this sounds very faithful and holy, does it even make sense? As I said, religion is all important but understanding religion is also. How many of us today understand the role or position of religion in life?

Here’s the fundamental, age old question of how old is mankind. Let’s use this as a starting point. The problem with the discussion of this question is that neither side of the debate aisle understands how to focus religion. Religious people swear on the Bible, God’s word that Adam & Eve were created 6,000 years ago. Science, also developed by God, says mankind is much older. We can split hairs saying hominids, and others date back hundreds of thousands of years.

Until and unless a clear position is established that religion is symbolic by nature, given its figure of speech style we will never be able to advance harmoniously as a world community.

No one argues science has made life comfortable. Religion cannot make a pencil even with all its prayers. Conversely, no amount of science will get us closer to God. Each has its place and each is important in making our lives better.

Wars and division In a world of symbolism, which by its very nature means stories are not to be taken literally, what happens? Wars and division. Each sees a scripture differently, even within their own religion. This is exactly where God cannot dwell. For example, let’s look at the three Abrahamic religions as three fields of science: physics, chemistry & biology. There are no contradictions. They all toe the same line.

As True Parents have often said, God is a God of science. True Parents have said they believed in science. In our world no one argues science. By its nature any scientific activity can be duplicated. Religion, contrarily, by its nature cannot. It’s not meant to. It’s a personal relationship with our Heavenly Parents. As with any two beings, the experience is unique.

The focus we must take is one of using religion to harmonize, not going down ancient roads of building an identity for the sake of aggrandizing one’s own family, clan, tribe, nation or religion. Using a religious term, this is Satan sticking its ugly face out, butting in.

Roots It may hurt one to think that the Bible is a book of myths but with lessons, morals. The main difference is that God is working on a world wide level through this tome. Why am I getting into this? Going back beyond the Bible and religion we can see God, our Heavenly Parent had been at work to perfect His children for millions and possibly even billions of years, so 2

we must expand our frame of thought.

We use the word child of God very narrowly. What constitutes a child of God? Are our 3 major races today enough to denote God’s children? Do our 6,000 biblical years go far back enough to include our not human family, which is a very materialistic way of looking at man, or do God’s children go back much further into antiquity? Are we looking at God’s children from a satanic, materialistic perspective?

Defining God’s children The Principle talks of God’s children as having intellect, emotion & will. Color, skin type, number of fingers, etc. are irrelevant. Someones had intellect..lots of it. Restoration stories / Principles we extrapolate in the Bible preceded the holy scriptures. We read many parallel stories in Sumerian texts. These stories are undated, possibly going back tens or hundreds of thousands of years, possibly even millions. The Fall could very conceivably have taken place in a remote past.

These intelligent beings, arguably God’s children, never developed a strong character, embracing heart. Instead, what our world inherited was disharmony, competition to be number one, winner takes all mind. This is opposite of what True Parents and religion teach. Yet, world wide, and possibly cosmos wide we see fights for dominion. What we humans are living today is a legacy of remotely distant past cultures.

If God’s children are all equal, He gave us all the same potential. The difference is one of order, who’s first, who’s next, etc. As mentioned, God embodied through His children. He has no body otherwise. Principle says God cannot have horizontal give & take (receive), but only vertical with His children. He could not have created, managed and perfected creation other than through His children..and He’s still working on that one.

How did He create the cosmos? How did His children create their (horizontal) bodies? From the very first elementary embodiment there were several missions. Perfect yourself, multiply, feed the horizontal body which would require creation, a habitat, which means that it would have to give life to some creation and then partially feed from it; i.e., governing it. It would have to duplicate itself. Each subsequent duplication would go through the same process, possibly multiple times. Thus we began making an ever expanding cosmos.

In the course, each expanding spirit would be independent. Like a stem cell each could branch out and become a new aspect of creation. This is evolution guided by the central command, God.

Across the cosmos groups of spirits would combine creating their own unique character. Life would develop individually but in groups, as with people today following instincts or callings.

God guided everyone.

Creation is an intimate part of our nature. We had to create our environment, habitat. I can see our ancestors enjoyed very much this aspect of their existence; no different from he joys we get today from ours. As electricity makes all our modern devices and gadgets ‘live’ our ancestors figured how to connect their creations to God’s direct energy. Thus we have animals and vegetation that live by eating and with God’s spiritual energy.

As the early versions of God’s children evolved so did their creations. Things got more complex, starting from the simplest of life elements. This far science seems to more or less agree.

When a vertically new, higher dimension creation was developed, it took mankind thousands, millions of years to develop and perfect. It’s the love True Parents mentioned required to bring this about. As cruel as a sentimental mind would find this, new, higher species survived by eating the lower, lesser creations, all important in the cycle of life. Lots of future visualization has always been needed to make this work. We can see that a business today doesn’t work any differently.

A question remains, why would our ancestors make beings like cockroaches, snakes, spiders, etc, along with cute cats and dogs; along with what would seem decorative giraffes, elephants, penguins, kangaroos, platypi and other quite unique life. We also have beautiful aromatic roses and tulips while also poison ivy, etc. There are things we must yet discover and understand.

There’s only one God. All beings with intellect, emotion & will are His creations, children. Disharmony has come down from afar and from long long ago. Adam & Eve and the physical Fall did not start just a few thousand years ago nor on earth.

By following this logic we’re seeing that life is far deeper, more beautiful than what the Bible teaches us. This narrative more easily allows one to understand how to read the Bible and how focus on restoring our minds.

God yearns for all His children Let’s look at the possibility that the above rings true.

God, our Heavenly Parents are looking for all their children. Who are we / they? Who do we include? True Parents are the True Parents of the cosmos. Why that title? Who are they including?

Where are God’s other children? Isn’t this the Fermí paradox? The ETs will be here, they’ll be back. What should our mindset be? The Sumerians called them Anunnaki. Today they’re the ETs. Other cultures or civilizations called them gods. They’re said to come from any of a number of stars, constellations, etc. Some say they left and are now dwelling / hiding 4

somewhere in the universe. Others claim they’re among us here on earth; we might not recognize them as who they might be even if we met them.

If ETs do exist and if they’re coming back home to earth, they’re the prodigal children yearning to be received by family. Parents always think of their family. Under True Parents we’re their (vertically speaking) elder siblings. The parents are most excited in having the (chronologically) elders return. Time to put our house in order, forgive, embrace and bring peace of heart to all.

The News World ET supplement & spirit world machine Arguably we can say TP’s main concern while on earth, and maybe even in SW is the liberation of God’s Heart. All activities were for humans to redirect their minds & hearts toward God’s Heart, in return we are liberated.

True Parents were not people to joke around or make requests in vain. They made requests many followers could not understand. The creation of a weekly UFO supplement at the NYC daily The News World is an example.

Many complained. They felt it was not serious. The complaint was that our daily was trying to compete with NYTimes & other serious media and was still struggling. This supplement would only make The News World a laughing stock in the media world. Unfortunately, no one saw True Parents’ intent & heart.

Restoration has to start in the Physical World. Spiritual beings without a physical body don’t qualify for restoration on earth, the physical world, which holds priority over spirit world in restoration.

Cosmic Politics Cosmic Politics was a paper Hal McKenzie wrote but never published. The Christmas before Hal passed he included the following in the introduction in the manuscript he sent me.

In 1981, however, Rev. Moon initiated a weekly supplement entitled “UFOs and Other Cosmic Phenomena” in the News World, the newspaper he founded in New York City in 1976. I was briefly in contact with Hal and he sent me this manuscript asking me to try to publish it if I could. A few years ago the webmaster at TParents.org gladly put it up on his sitei.

i Cosmic Politics

Spirit world machine Some time in the 1980s True Parents asked three different groups of people to create what has been dubbed a ‘spirit world machine’. They included a Korean university physics professor, a Japanese software engineer, and a US technology company. Together they were to create a mechanism (machine?) that could communicate with spirit world. Till now we have not yet seen fruit of their work.

Like in all situations with Rev Moon we must study deeper. He mentioned that he does not explain what others before him had already spoken; i.e., he expects people to educate themselves. It is our homework. It was because we did not know enough, have a base, that he was not able to explain more and deeply.
