Why are there few spiritual phenomena today?

Why are there few spiritual phenomena today? Throughout recorded history and before, mankind has been escorted and at times stalked by beings and phenomena often recorded in religious paintings, writings, news stories (after the printing press had been invented), etc. Never were the beings officially received, but in popular culture they were often acknowledged. Today, we have governments officially denying their existence or appearances for whatever agenda they may have. Science remains incredulous.

I’m talking about extraterrestrials, unidentified flying objects or whatever name the governments choose to use today; all this just to keep the media, pundits, curious minds and anyone interested in this phenomena, at bay.

Why do we today, in the era of True Parents, not see or experience phenomena which for millennia had been common occurrence?

I’ll reintroduce a concept from an earlier paper. Angel or any worship other than our True Parents and Heavenly Parents only, at this important time in history, takes away from the purity and sacredness of their providence. Imagine an MC preparing to introduce True Parents. As soon as they’re on stage all people, performers, etc. leave the stage, leaving True Parents alone to speak.

All these phenomena and beliefs, whether angels, ETs / UFOs, spiritual experiences of all kinds, etc. were Heavenly Father’s way of guiding and preparing mankind, and telling us that He was here shepherding us; all this up to the moment our True Parents appeared.

Regardless of which phenomena mankind around the globe followed, it was God sending His representatives; the latter day equivalents of the biblical saints, sages, angels, etc before John the Baptist. It’s very possible that with our technological and scientific development today we would interpret the same phenomena of yesteryear differently, using terms and concepts commensurate with 21st century culture.

All these phenomena ended with the appearance of True Parents. Heavenly Father could not have mankind’s minds distracted from the providential center, the all important focus. All these beings and phenomena before the coming of True Parents were the biblical equivalent prophets and sages pre-John the Baptist figures and beings preparing the way for the Lord, the messiah, the True Parents. Some spiritual leaders understood.

If we want to see Satan and how he interferes, simply look at music, movies, gadgets, etc; all activities not pointing to True Parents. As I said before, Satan is our uncentered mind; uncentered on Heavenly Parents, guiding people away from Heavenly Parents and restoration.

I have often wondered in frustration why we don’t experience ETs / UFOs or other spiritual

phenomena in our present days; where are they, echoing the Fermi paradoxi? Unless these experiences directly point to True Parents we won’t see them take place. Their appearing more publicly would make believing in True Parents more difficult; it would scatter attention and not focus on True Parents. The spiritual beings know this. People would tend to be superstitious and distracted by all these phenomena.

The ETs or spiritual beings are the latter day equivalents to the prophets Jesus spoke about who came prior to John the Baptist. We the followers of True Parents are the John the Baptists of today.

The ETs or whatever name we give them, will be back. They have to. We are family. We are one. They are our distant elder relatives.

We must also consider they too are results of the Fall. They need us as much as we need them as much as we need all humankind, past, present and future. Heavenly Father is yearning for our reunion with great anticipation. True Parents included cosmos in their victorious title. It wasn’t just a boisterous claim.

In the meantime we must deal with the skeptical and / or scientific minds and / or official government denials.

True Parents had The News World in 1981 publish a biweekly supplement, edited by Hal McKenzie, UFOs and Other Cosmic Phenomena. In his later paper Cosmic Politicsii McKenzie says Rev Moon was already in the 1960s referred to as a ‘spiritual volcano’ and a general in command of a legion of such spirits. However, there was disappointment that True Parents never went public about UFOs. This paper may explain the reason why not. If things had worked out more smoothly at the start of True Parents’ providence we may have had more ET / UFO connection. It’s possible now in late 2020, with our True Parents cosmic victories that we may begin seeing and experiencing a return of such phenomena.

A few years after the publication of UFOs and Other Cosmic Phenomena True Parents had members of the three providential nations create what was dubbed the spirit world machine. Unfortunately I got involved late in this project but a Korean physics professor, a Japanese software engineer and an American company were invited to participate in this creation. They never worked together. Nothing came out if it. I met with the Korean and Japanese. I was in contact with a member of the US team of the Saeilo company given the task.

Spiritual phenomena knock at the door of our hearts, introducing us to distant relatives Heavenly Parents are urging us to receive. Restoration ultimately involves them too. The walls of symbolism and figures of speech have to give way to facts, little of which we know. Our True Parents have been hinting at this. They are building bridges for us to cross; meet them half way. A great reunion awaits us.
