Our Heavenly Parent's Bleeding Heart over Unificationists

One year ago I sent you a letter under the theme “The Liberation of our True Parents” in which I suggested 21 points which must be taken to heart in order to liberate True Father and True Mother. Unfortunately the urgently needed changes in the hearts of leaders and members did not occur so that finally there was no longer any foundation for Father to continue his mission here on earth.

Because the motto for last year was not fulfilled we have it again for this year with Heaven hoping that we would finally understand what is needed to liberate not only True Parents but especially our beloved Heavenly Father/Mother. Therefore I would like to remind you of core points which are essential to fulfill in order to bring comfort to the bleeding Heart of our Heavenly Parent who longs that we leave the realm of Indirect Dominion and become one with our Creator in the Direct Dominion, as mature sons and daughters.

In order to accomplish this goal we must take full responsibility for the substantial realization of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth by:

(1) Putting God at the center of all our activities with the deep conviction that we are not only destined to live in the realm of the direct dominion of our Heavenly Parent’s Love but we can actually reach this precious goal during our life here on earth if we focus absolutely on the Living God rather than on obeying orders issued by leaders.

(2) Following the voice of our true conscience which resonates with the voice of our Cosmic Parent in our soul so that our actions will be a manifestation of our beloved Heavenly Father/ Mother’s Love and an expression of His/Her eternal Truth.

(3) Acknowledging that the first commandment of God’s Kingdom on Earth is to love people with all our heart, soul and mind, even more than we love God, our Heavenly Parent.

(4) Investing into Home Church in line with Father’s teaching that Home Church is the key to God’s Kingdom and the task of every member to respond to this providential calling.

(5) Recognizing the fact that each one of us can choose to be an individual, family, tribal, national or world and cosmic Messiah as a member of True Parents’ extended family in line with Father’s teaching concerning messiahship.

(6) Realizing that since the start of the children’s course in 1981 we are responsible for restoration and should take the burden of this cross from our True Parents’ shoulders.

(7) Promoting a member-centered movement where we live in a God-like way and build the environmental Kingdom of Heaven as Father requested on Children’s Day in 1981.

In order to secure the concrete establishment of God’s Kingdom we are dedicated to:

(8) Ensure that God is in charge so that His desire will be fulfilled, enabling our Heavenly Parent to work freely through us, guiding us directly.

(9) Draw the correct conclusions from what Father stated on Children’s Day in 1983: “It was God’s design for the archangel to take the position of teacher to the growing Adam and Eve even though he was ultimately in the servant’s position…

From the Divine Principle point of view, the Korean elders are in the position of unfallen archangel in the Garden of Eden and you are in the position of Adam and Eve. Their primary purpose is to teach God’s tradition to you.’’

Who is higher in our church? The Korean leaders or the members? We all know the answer: The elders from Korea. But in whose position are they? In the archangel position. This means that we have reversed God’s Principle in our movement with the members in the position of Adam and Eve following the archangel instead of the other way around.

This tragic reality has cost not only the spiritual lives of thousands of members but the prolongation of God’s providence and ultimately the premature death on the cross of the Lord of the Second Advent - crucified by his own followers.

When will we be ready to face our sins in front of God’s Will? We are an archangel-type church and accordingly we have not grown for decades in most places because our Heavenly Parent does not support a movement which is violating God’s eternal Truth by putting the ones in the archangel position above those in the position of Adam and Eve.

We teach that it was wrong of our first ancestors to follow the archangel and at the same time we are doing it ourselves! It is absolutely clear that we have betrayed God’s Principle of children being in a higher position than the archangel by following those who are in the archangel position, the Korean leaders.

Heaven has been shedding endless tears about us following the way of the archangel instead of walking on the path of true sons and daughters who live under the direct dominion of the Living God which has been opened up by the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humanity.

We are supposed to be a worldwide family where we care for one another wholeheartedly as true brothers and sisters while we are very far from such a reality as I know first-hand very well after having worked for years in many countries around the globe and having reached out to thousands of our members on a daily basis via the internet.

It is so unspeakably sad that our worldwide membership still clings to following leaders even though Father had requested not to follow any leader or leader’s family already two decades ago. We are a dead church and a movement which is incapable of moving the world because we are focused on leaders instead of the Living God.

We have been unable to build God’s Kingdom during the past decades and we will surely not be able to establish Cheon Il Guk substantially by 2020 unless we change fundamentally on a personal level and as a movement.

Father stated clearly that children are far more valuable and important than parents who should sacrifice themselves for the children. We have it completely wrong — the other way around or upside down — in our movement where those in the leadership positions are served and so many members have been sacrificed for the leaders. This fact is clearly recorded in Heaven as one of the worst crimes. Who doubts this only needs to go back to Father’s speech on January 24, 2012 where he spoke of our grave sins.

Tragically most members are spiritually and heartistically dead so that they do not feel the bleeding Heart of our Heavenly Parent over us who have betrayed God’s Principle in many ways and are responsible for killing the Lord of the Second Advent.

We have written a very miserable history as the failed third Israel. I understand that there are those who will only believe this fact when they see Korea in ashes because God could not protect it anymore. Is such an indescribable tragedy necessary for us to wake up and realize that we are following the way of the archangel instead of uniting with our Heavenly Parent and building a substantial family of True Love where we care for one another with all of our Heart and soul?

(10) True Father expressed to state leaders on March 27, 1979 his hope to create a new, fresh movement: “Father is now setting up a new strategy, or principle, or policy, that the state level, state-oriented movement, is gone… the national leaders’ era is gone… So far, the dignity of the national leaders and state leaders, blocks any achievement.”

And today, a quarter of a century later we are still focused on the national leaders in every country – leader-centered – even though Father had declared the end of that era more than 30 years ago. We have been completely ignoring Father’s crystal clear directions.

(11) Father explained: “The position of Cain and Abel is not decided by any other standard except by who is working and sacrificing more for the sake of others. Such a person is automatically Abel.” This means it is a clear heresy to claim somebody in a leadership position is Abel whose orders need to be followed. It is not the leaders who are Abel but those who sacrifice the most, who love brothers and sisters the deepest.

(12) One year ago Father expressed his concern about our poor standard saying: “When I see you, I am really worried about you. Thinking of Foundation Day, I can’t sleep at night, but you are just thinking and worried about what to eat, what to dress, and your family matters. I can’t sleep thinking how many of you I can bring with me to the Kingdom of Heaven in the spirit world.”

Foundation Day came and went and we are still the same, with Father worrying about whom he can bring to the Kingdom of Heaven, as less than one percent of us are qualified to enter. When will we take Father’s unmistakably clear words to heart and return to God?

(13) We have completely ignored Father’s statement on December 1, 1983: “There is no established seniority within our system - no matter who a person is or what position he has, if he is living for the sake of others more than anyone else then he should be the center of the whole movement.”

Country by country it can be shown that the leader is not the person who is living the most sacrificial life, eating the most humble food, living under the most simple living conditions but everywhere our leaders enjoy certain privileges. We are not implementing Father’s direction that the most loving people are the center of our movement and therefore God’s blessing is not with us.

(14) At the Unification Church National Conference on December 19, 1990 Father announced: “Father would like to create a new kind of organization, not a pyramid type with a top command echelon and so many other levels that by the time the bottom is reached, half of the message is lost. Father would like to have a direct hot line for his instructions to each member. Each individual must consider that he represents not only himself, but his family, county, state, nation, and heaven and earth and is directly responsible to God.”

That fundamental direction was completely ignored by our leadership and our members around the world still do not feel that they are the ones representing not only their nation but even Heaven and earth and are directly responsible to God. They are following their leaders in the position of the archangel, a situation which our Cosmic Parent will never ever support because our Heavenly Father/Mother want to realize a family of True Love of true brothers and sisters and not an organization with leaders and members.

In order to guarantee that God’s Kingdom is actually being built we must take responsibility for Father’s fundamental directions to be implemented which include the following tasks:

(15) Receive the mission that Father gave us in line with his words: “I am bequeathing everything to you. You take it over and run it. You become like Father in everything you do. Practice Father’s way, and win the same victory that Father won.” We will fulfill this historic responsibility of taking over the task of True Parents by making it our own as their loyal children who give our life for this purpose.

(16) Make sure that we are one in Heart as brothers and sisters who love each other dearly, absolutely centered on God and united with one another on a worldwide level as Father asked on December 31, 1973: “If God’s will and the will of our members all over the world become one, then it is easy for us to carry out our missions.”

(17) Fulfill the task which Father asked on February 21, 1991: “You have to lead the model, heavenly life as husband, wife and children… Now I order you to become a judge and supervisor of the Unification Church all over the country. If there is a hidden secret fallen act in the church you have to expose and give this truth, spelling out the guidelines of the family, so that you become a good judge and supervisor. Do you understand? This is your mission.”

(18) Treasure Father’s guidance: “Now all of you understand, a true member of the Unification Church is someone who sheds tears, and a true leader is someone who sheds tears. Therefore, since there was much shedding of tears at the fall, restoration requires tears to be shed, and in doing so one should not be centered on oneself, but should cry a lot for the sake of God and humanity. The more one sheds tears the closer one will be to the realm of God’s Heart.” We will build the Kingdom of Heaven by walking a tearful path.

(19) Realize and practice Father’s teaching concerning true filial piety: “What is a child of filial piety? They are not those that make devoted efforts for their parents. You should know that those who make devoted efforts for their brothers and sisters as they would serve their parents are children of filial piety.” (Cheon Seong Gyeong, page 376; July 19, 1984)

(20) Bring God’s presence into our midst by loving each other wholeheartedly: “I am teaching you that you should love one another as much as you love God and True Parents. Then the dwelling of God is with you, and Mother and I shall be with you. Because this day marks the beginning of that new era, I called this the Historical Children’s Day.”

(21) Follow Father’s guidance: “If you want to be a heavenly person you will love everybody as you love God. I never want to feel that you are just following my instructions rather that you have really perfected yourself in the image of God on your own initiative.”

Do we understand and apply what Father said on October 30, 1995? “The reason that the Family Federation exists is to allow you to perfect yourselves through your own efforts.”

Each one of us is responsible to reach perfection or completion based on fulfilling our individual portion of responsibility which means from the viewpoint of Heart to invest one’s life for the sake of reviving the hearts of all people beyond our families, tribes and nations.

Only if we change fundamentally to connect with one another in Heart beyond any kinds of national or other borders will God’s Blessing return to us. There is no other way of building Cheon Il Guk – other than becoming the embodiment of True Love on all levels based on walking the course of practicing True Love from the position of servant of servant up until reaching the level of oneness with our beloved Heavenly Father/Mother as true son or daughter.

May we all take this task to heart and start anew as members who are reborn in the Love of God, no longer under somebody in the archangel position but directly connected with our Heavenly Parent and living according to the guidance of the Living God rather than the instructions coming from some leaders.

God fulfilled His/Her portion of responsibility and told us the full truth. All what I am sharing with you is based on Father’s words and confirms the truth of the Divine Principle. Nobody has an excuse that he or she did not know the actual situation we are in from the viewpoint of our Heavenly Parent who is shedding blood-filled tears over our stubbornness and refusal to take the words of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humanity to heart.

I am writing this letter on the 16th day after Foundation Day and it will reach you by the time the first 21 days after the historic D-Day of the beginning of Cheon Il Guk are completed. That the era of Cheon Il Guk has begun does not mean that we will be able to enjoy its benefits until we have completely purified our heart through our tears of repentance.

This is the only way possible to return to our Heavenly Parent and to enter God’s Kingdom – to be absolutely pure in our Heart and mind.

Hoping that this final call for repentance will bear fruits and that we will liberate our Heavenly Father/Mother who is truly shedding blood-filled tears over us,
