Do we recognize our Heavenly Father’s loving guidance? (21)

On March 9, 2009, the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the publication of Father’s autobiography, I informed the subscribers of the iUnificationist Meeting House that the 70 presentations with photos of True Parents that were originally uploaded in the members’ section of the website dedicated to Young Jin Nim (www.youngjinnim.com (username: Youngjinnim password: welcome) can now also be viewed on Youtube by going to the link: www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=CFF46505E90162DE (As a Peace Loving Global Citizen 1a- 70a)

I am sorry for the lack of quality of the presentations which you may perceive as you watch them, but hopefully this will not be a hindrance to concentrate on the inner purpose of these videos – to support prayerful meditation on the life of our True Parents.

Dr. Ohtsuka, former Northeast continental director, said in his speech offered in Belarus: “Please understand the spiritual value of True Parents. Our international president Hyung Jin Nim, the 7th son, is focusing more on the spiritual value of the True Parents. After publishing the autobiography of True Parents, our Parents started to be accepted very well in Korean society. But in that book spiritual value of True Parents is all erased. This book was written by non-church member erasing all the spiritual aspect of True Parents. That is why Hyung Jin Nim is asking us to understand Father‟sand Mother‟sspiritual value more. True Father was introduced just as peacemaker. It is not good. We have to see Father and Mother very spiritually.”

It is my hope that watching photo presentations of True Parents, portraying them in a variety of situations, can be helpful for understanding the profound internal meaning of their lives and to find a deeper heartistic connection to them while reflecting prayerfully about what kind of life they have been living in service to God and humankind.

May we be able to establish a heart to heart relationship to all members of the True Family in order for us to be able to support them in the best possible way and to build together a world of True Love where each and every son and daughter of God is highly appreciated and deeply loved.

I am convinced that it is indeed essential that we connect heartistically more closely with the life of our True Parents by taking the time to meditate deeply about what kind of life they have lived and what are their hopes for us as members of their extended family.

Had more members taken this invitation to look to our True Father and True Mother to heart, then there would have been more seriousness to see fellow Unificationists as my own brother and sister

of the same family and the tragedy of kicking out brother Nikolaus and sister Elise would not have manifested soon afterwards.

According to the time when the posts are registered at the website it was late in the evening of March 8, 2011 that Father’s recent speech was posted there followed three hours later by the encouragement that it is good to believe. Then no new blog appeared on iUnificationist for 43 hours – the final hours before the earthquake, while there was an intensive discussion going on in this community about brother Nikolaus. The reflection I sent to this e-group during that time on March 10, 2011 was not accepted and by the time the earthquake hit Japan I was already banned.

The only article which you will now find, posted on the 10th of March with the title, “If we become brothers and sisters we can break down all barriers” was put there only a few days later, after the ones in responsible positions were asked by different people why they had suspended brother Nikolaus and sister Elise from the Meeting House…

Father himself emphasized the great importance of his speech on March 5, 2011. This means that on this day the specially prepared word of God was given and then there was a period of 6 days during which Heaven was watching how brothers and sisters around the world would respond, hoping that they would take the Word of the Living God to heart. As mentioned above, on March 8, 2011 this speech was posted in the Meeting House for international Unificationists and 8 members offered their gratitude for this precious speech. But was the content put into practice in this community?

For example, when summarizing his message Father requested: “I ask you to inscribe in your hearts the fact that we have entered the era of the realm of the Cosmic Sabbath of True Love.

In that realm, all families should live together and share their joys as tribes spanning eight generations, centering on the vision of all humankind becoming one family. The world of One Family Under God, where all people are equal and all nations are like siblings, is unfolding before your eyes.”

The question was accordingly, how such a family spirit is practiced in the relationships among the 2600 members who have joined the iUnificationist Meeting House, representing a microcosm of one Family under God – where all members are equal, siblings, who live together and share together?

From this viewpoint it is such a tragedy that only three days after the subscribers of this internet group had been offered God’s Word so clearly the opposite was practiced by banning brother Nikolaus and sister Elise, and not even allowing her husband to join this community.

Elise wrote in the comment section of the article “Unite and Restore the lost Heart of Brothers and Sisters” on March 10, 2011: “When I do Champumonim Og Mansei with Rev. Hyung Jin each day, I feel that we as brothers and sisters are drawing closer, than we have ever done before…It is the power and love of God’s Holy Spirit that will enable our unity, it is the God’s Love and Power between us that enables our friendship…”

It is obvious that our relationships among us would be much better, if we would invest more into deepening our heart to heart connection to our Heavenly Parent. Instead of taking this reminder to heart another reality was manifested on the following day: Elise was banned from the iUnificationist Meeting House.

In another mail Elise wrote: “I feel that we as Unificationists need to look at our name and realize that we come not only to unite the world but to unite the world on our foundation of unity and what better way to do this than to unite in heart with one another. We need to see past our own concepts of one another and take up God’s eye -glasses to see this world and one another through His eyes of love… This is what Nikolaus has taught me.”

In respect to her relationship to me Elise shared: she mentioned: “I am writing letters to defend him not because he has asked this of me; but because I have been inspired by God to do so. I feel it is one of my missions to propagate unity in our church family…that Is the reason why I support Nikolaus in his work to reach the hearts of all our members so that we can unite into one as it is written in the Holy Song: „Unite Into One‟.It seems to me that Nikolaus’ letters are like a forum for us all to unite…”

Of course the issue is not brother Nikolaus. I am just sharing from my heart just as there are many other brothers and sisters who express their thinking and emotions, their understanding and experiences for many members to read like on iUnificationist. The decisive question is how we treat each other. Whether or not we establish a victorious foundation of heartistic unity in line with our True Parents having stated in Las Vegas: “The world of One Family Under God, where all people are equal and all nations are like siblings, is unfolding before your eyes.”

The Word of God advocating unity and mutual understanding as siblings was given to 2300 Unificationists on March 5, 2011 in Las Vegas while an equal number of brothers and sister were invited to reflect on the importance of uniting with one another on the same day through receiving a reflection with the subject title “Unite and Restore the lost Heart of Brothers and Sisters” in their mailbox.

If one adds up the numbers including the 2600 subscribers of iUnificationist (2x2300 plus 2600) it is some 7000 brothers and sisters who have been invited to reflect on the importance of establishing deeper relationships among us as siblings, as members of our True Parents extended family. Isn’t it true that this situation represented Heaven asking our worldwide membership to show that in our midst the spirit of loving one another deeply as true brothers and sisters is well established?

In this speech in Las Vegas Father explained: “Our ultimate goal is to establish God’s nation and His righteousness, so that we live attending God as the center. Jesus spoke of God’s Kingdom. What kind of kingdom would that be? It would be the ideal kingdom of peace which takes the form of a true ideal family in which three generations-grandparents, parents and children- live together in mutual trust, respect and interdependence, and united in love. It would be a nation of God’s sovereignty, the utopia of which humankind has dreamed.”

This unity of three generations needs to be established first of all in the relationship between God – True Parents – and us, as three generations. As members of the extended family of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humanity we are supposed to build relationships of mutual trust, respect and interdependence, where we are truly united in love.

Seen from the viewpoint of how poorly we have done so far in this respect as a worldwide family, as brothers and sisters who could not unite well while Cain/Abel struggles prevailed, it is understandable that the people of the nation that stands in the mother position for the world is now in a position of an offering, to pay extra indemnity to bring more love and caring into this world, what has become manifested to a certain extent as consequence of the recent tragedy.

When Hyung Jin Nim spoke on March 20, 2011 at the Tokyo Headquarters Church he said: “When you go to the spirit world, What’s the question which God will ask us? God will ask you: ‘Did you really love my True Son, Sun Myung Moon? Did (or do) you love or not?.’ This is the important question. I sent the 2nd Messiah. Did you love him?…”

True Parents taught us that there is not only one messiah as we go through life but we receive our spouse as second messiah after having been reborn through receiving the love of unconditionally loving Parents. Then there are our spiritual and physical children who stand in the position of our third messiah and finally there are also our brothers and sisters in the position of fourth messiah – to liberate us from our limitations to love.

True Father asked us to establish heart to heart relationships among us: “You have to overcome divisions and become glued together with the Love of God.”

How well have we been doing in fulfilling the essential task of uniting in heart so that nothing can separate us from one another?

As we say that we love our True Parents, let us make sure that we do what they have asked of us and love one another more than we love them, with true brotherly/sisterly love.
