Do we recognize our Heavenly Father’s loving guidance? (20)

After I had sent my reflection about unity and restoring the lost heart of brothers and sisters to the iUnificationist Meeting House the next post was Hyung Jin Nim’s prayer on February 23, 2011 in which he prayed: “Our most beloved Heavenly God,

Our dearest most beloved True Parents of Heaven and Earth. Father, we are so grateful, this day, that we can come before You and be in the presence of Your amazing grace. Father, let us never believe that it is because we are great that we can stand before You as righteous people. Let us not be filled with that kind of self-righteousness arrogance.

… Father, we want to come before You this day, not with arrogance, not with our ego-centered self, full of our selves but, Father, emptied of our selves. Father, that we may died in the spirit. That, Father Your spirit may fill us with new life…

Let this be the day that You allow this rebirth to occur, Father. Let this be the day when we repent,… Father, repentful children who come asking for forgiveness and receiving Your love, with a new heart, Father.

Let this be the day that we may stand up again and truly love the eternal love. Let us not anymore focus on such limited love, a love centered on a worship of our self, addiction to our ego. Let us love the one that is beyond time and space, that is endless, limitless, infinite, and let us find the infinite world, the infinite world of peace, the infinite world of joy, the infinite world of purpose, the infinite world of love, which is Your heart, Father.

Let us enter into Your heart today. The love within there allows our pure mind and intention and heart to be pure this day, so we may love the One whom You have sent with all our might and our strength…”

Through this prayer the community was reminded of the importance of being humble and to find the infinite world of love in the Heart of our Heavenly Parent, where enough space and welcome abounds for each and every child of God.

True Parents asked us that we love each other more than we love them – and when loving them deeply is emphasized then we should realize that we are supposed to love one another even more profoundly – because herein lies the starting point for the Kingdom of Heaven.

Accordingly this essential point was tested in those decisive days – when the members of iUnificationist were also offered the reflection “At the heart of the problems of humanity lies the human heart” to encourage them to look deeper into one’s own heart and to resolve issues there.

In that article I quoted Father: “Be a hero of love and of heart. No matter how great a man you may be, you will be a failure unless you conquer the heart of mankind.” To conquer the heart of mankind begins of course with succeeding to connect with one’s brother and sister, fellow Unificationists, which was challenged and tested in those days within the iUnificationist Meeting House.

Especially in the three days before the historic date of March 11, 2011 Heaven was working to inspire the 2600 members who had gathered in that home in the worldwide net to purify their hearts and to practice truly loving one another. Accordingly one of the members who participated later in the discussion about brother Nikolaus sent a message entitled “The power of true Repentance” where this person testified: “Repentance is only natural for us when we move to God Truly, brothers and sisters. It’s what I’ve experienced myself.

When we separate good and evil in us, we can come to God. As it’s written in DP, the deeper faith one has, the stronger fight with sin he needs to carry on. And only through True Parents, we can find total salvation and resurrection.

Repentance is only natural in our life, if we are truly moving to God. So I just want to testify from my own experience. When I connected my heart and my mind and all my being through healing service prayer with True Parents, I could find my true self and liberate my heart. Finally I gained hope, love and direction in my life. They are our grace and rock of salvation. They are our love…”

The task of separating good and evil within ourselves was the one that was decisive in those days where the decision was made how to deal with brother Nikolaus and sister Elise. Very sadly, instead of repenting, separating good and evil within oneself, and kicking out the evil mind in order to get rid of one’s fallen nature, the decision was made to throw out one’s brother and sister.

In support of appreciating each other more, especially women, I sent on the occasion of March 8, 2011 a letter with the title “Join on the bridge…” It was Heaven’s hope that the ones who have issues with their brother or sister would go on the “Bridge of Peace” to meet in heart to heart reconciliation, but such a spirit of love and forgiveness did not prevail in the iUnificationist Meeting House but one of banning one’s brother and sister.

The next post that was sent to this community dealt with the “Dynamics of Love: The Realm of the Child Begins with Parents” The brother who offered this reflection wrote: “We may naively feel that God’s love is like the sunshine pouring down, and our daily affirmation of this is enough to make the magic of restoration happen. Then we look around and see such meager results, and problems growing exponentially larger. We can only conclude that something like this must be the case. We have a ‘God connection’ problem and must honestly realize it is true and seek to solve it.”

True Father’s words were offered: “Love requires one hundred percent devotion. When God was creating the universe, He invested Himself one hundred percent through His love. That is why true love begins with living for the sake of others.”

After giving this quotation the brother explained: “God needs one object to fully love, and that object must fully reciprocate that love to reveal what True Love really is. Only then can real ‘Love’ be

multiplied in our world. That object has never been found in the course of history. It is the reason a ‘Messiah’ or some link to God has been a major theme in all religions and philosophies.

Man abdicated his responsibility. By making excuses and pointing his finger, he left it to the ‘angel’ to be the center of love or ‘luv’ as I call it. That angel is unqualified to fill the universe with ‘Love’ even if he hadn’t fallen. This reality has generated a race of finger pointers. This explains why human history is not ‘God’s True Love Story’, but a story of humankind’s miserable failings. It explains why God seems something distant and trapped, like a insect locked in amber. It explains why although our hearts goes out to the starving children of the world, it seems almost impossible to rectify the problem. Our hearts feel we should have enough, but in reality we don’t have ‘enough’…

There is a power source that must be plugged in to. It can’t be inserted half way for it to work. The connection must be complete. It explains why True Parents have lived such desperate lives. It is why they continue to call to us, gather us and ask us continually to read, study and serve others. They know we must bind with them for True Love to expand. I have never been fooled by those who discredit True Parents motives. They could have left with the goodies long ago, escaping the yoke of this needy flock. But God is alive in them and will not let them rest until the bright light of Love is blazing for all.

I understand that I am created to be an autonomously loving sovereign soul. My identity as a unique child of God is the most important thing to me. But along with that, I understand that the love meant to bind men together was broken before it could solidify. That broken love is really God’s broken heart. We have never been the true mature loving souls we should be.

For the reasons stated above, I begin this study of the ‘Four Loves, Love 1: The Realm of the Child’ on the foundation of the realization that we need ‘True Parents’. The child’s realm of love doesn’t exist without the radiant love of his Parents shining down from above him. The Parent only becomes a parent when those beautiful, clear, alive and innocent eyes are shining back. We need True Parents and they need us.”

It is the hope of True Father and True Mother that we don’t just remain Moonies but become Sunnies, who are shining with the God Love in our hearts: “The Moonies are those who can only gain their strength from Father, receiving his light and encouragement, then giving it out… Sunnies are dynamos themselves, giving out light to the world whether I am here or not. The wish of Heavenly Father, as well as my own desire, is for you to become such a Sunnie. Don’t stay too long on the Moonie level; promote yourself to a Sunnie.”

I included this quotation in the reflection “To love others is the origin of the Kingdom of Heaven” which I sent out at the end of February to many hundreds of members around the world, adding also Father’s words: “If you want to become a Sunnie, you have to ‘burn up’ yourself in order to give energy and warmth to the world.”

The post that followed the article about the “Dynamics of Love” had the title “Let them show our ‘true colors’” with the following content: “We choose to improve ourselves every day. That’s a wonderful thing. But we should never forget that we can’t be any other person but our ‘true selves’. That’s our goal. Our goal is to be our original self. God intended for us to be…It is OK to be different from others and that’s the beauty of ‘individual truth body’.

No matter what this world would say about who we are…God loves our ‘true colors’. Every time I listen to this song, it brings tears to my eyes…because I feel this is God’s message for us. That’s why I love this song. Let’s be our best! And let them show our ‘true colors’!”

Why did Heaven inspire this person to send such a message? Because the time had come when the “true colors” of the members who joined iUnificationist was about to be tested. Three days later it became obvious what kind of spirit dominates there with the expulsion of brother Nikolaus and sister Elise.

The message that followed had the title “Escape the judgment of 1/13/2013” included the following lines: “Like it is said, before the Kingdom of God comes with that new authority, first comes as invisible sign to in every human physical eyes, I believe, the Last judgment from the inside, from the Spirit World. So, are you sure, like I am, that you pass the judgment? My day of Judgment was on nine eleven two thousand one…”

Did spirit world move that (spiritually inclined) brother to send such a message three days before the great earthquake, whereby one would only need to make a minor change and it would read: “Escape the judgment of 11/3/2011” – according to how the date is written in many countries or “Escape the judgment of 3/11/2011”, reminding them of 9/11?

Another message that was sent on that 8th of March to iUnificationist dealt with the story Jesus told the people about the poor woman who offered her last money (the widow’s mite) in the Synagogue: “The standard of giving should be based on our sincere Heart to want to offer all we have to God…

…we see our ‘Fallen Nature’ looming so high. I realized this just recently again, that especially if we are ambitious and really want to do great things for God and yet we find that our, current ability combined with certain weaknesses, is far from enabling us to do great things. I found such moments to be very tempting to just, sit back and let the time pass by in an easy as possible way, thinking why bother, it want change a thing anyway?

However whenever I search my Innermost Heart, I feel a deep longing to offer to God what I have. My Heart longs so much to return Love to God!! And that is always the decisive moment for me, when I determine to do whatever I can for God. Just aiming to do my very best…”

It was Heaven’s hope that the members of the iUnificationist Meeting House would do their very best to overcome their limitations to love and unite with one another and practice what Father told them on March 5, 2011 in Las Vegas. The text of this speech was the next post that appeared on this website, followed by the message entitled “To believe is good indeed!” – because it is indeed good to believe in the Word of God and to act upon it concretely.

In this message the subscribers could listen to the testimony of one sister who wrote: “A few days ago, I came to understand that sin calling for repentance: TO HAVE TURNED MY BACK TO HEAVEN! The Blessing ceremony encompasses it naturally, but was absolutely unaware of the historical stake at hand. Either it happened 6000 years ago, or in my personal life, each time I doubt, each time I judge,

each time I pretext for lack of results, each time I look down, each time I “teach”, each time I misuse other members, I am turning my back to Heaven!

Since it happened, Holy Spirit is helping me a little further already as I began to be able to genuinely merge into that emotion of just loving Father and Mother, joining Hyung Jin Nim in an angelic sound of voice to conclude the chanting. TO BELIEVE IS GOOD INDEED!”

Yes, it is good to believe in God, True Parents, the Holy Spirit, etc. but it is equally important to believe in one’s brother and sister and to restore relationships on that level because we are supposed to love our brothers and sisters more than we love our True Parents. This is what they asked of us, but how many of us are listening to them in this respect and acting accordingly?

Many people who emphasize the importance of respecting True Parents show at the same time a heart of little respect for fellow Unificationists, whom they are supposed to love more than God and True Father and True Mother, as it became e.g. manifested in how brother Nikolaus and sister Elise were treated by certain representatives of our movement.

It is easy to say that I love God and True Parents ever so much, but am I able to love my brother and my sister? If we cannot love them we remain in a certain realm of death because God’s Love cannot be with us – as we are stuck in our inability to love.

May we all recognize clearly how our Heavenly Father is offering us His loving guidance to help us to overcome our inner barriers and to learn to love in the same way as He is caring so tenderly for each and every one of His beloved children.
