Do we recognize our Heavenly Father’s loving guidance? Part 11

In response to the person who offered a quotation from True Father with a short comment the sister who began the attack on her brother Nikolaus wrote on iUnificationist: “Also, one lesson, if you aren’t present in the actual scene, DON’T EVER DARE TO GIVE your bias opinion or else that will make a big problem. I am saying this to Mr. Beutl who wasn’t here physically present when that tragedy happened last May 31, 2009 who gave his strong unsolicited opinion (bias) about the incident here and you, too Mr. [family name of this brother], you weren’t here, YOU JUST HEARD FROM SOMEBODY, so don´t ever dare to give a piece of advice when you aren´t really knowing what actually happened.

By the way, I am not interfering any fight, alright? And it´s not just a matter of my Continental Director, it´s deeper than that. It´s the belief and faith that I am defending with. When Mr. Beutl wrote those strong accusations which weren´t true, he insulted my faith because of falsity.

And to you, Mr. [family name of this brother], if you want me to humble then change your tone, you did already and I changed but if you continue the way you were talking to me now, well I´m ready for you, that´s why better you stop or ask Sister [name of WFWP repr.] to mediate both of us. Already she was succeeding but you came out to the scene again, you are not helping Mr. [family name of this brother], you are making things worst here.”

It is most obvious, who has a problem. The person who shows so much arrogance as to speak with her brother, who tried to help her, in these terms is the one who calls others being arrogant etc. – because she herself has a problem in this respect.

And again it is confirmed that she has the problem she is accusing others of when she says that this brother “Also, one lesson, if you aren’t present in the actual scene, DON’T EVER DARE TO GIVE your bias opinion or else that will make a big problem…” This is exactly what this sister is doing. She never met me personally. Just heard this or that about me and judged me based on her own prejudice. It is ever so clear what is going on.

One Sister who lately joined iUnificationist addressed the troubled person with the following letter: “You are right. Those of us who were not there personally in Brazil at that time of tragedy, cannot fully understand how painful and traumatic it was for those who experienced it first-hand. Sometimes I think this is like a nightmare that this should happen in our church, when we are so close to Foundation Day (1/13/2013).

My family prays every day that HJN will reconcile with TP. We can’t understand how anyone could possibly be confused and break away from TP at this time, … A lot of people are now confused and scared because of this tragic situation. I can see that you are very angry and hurt by all of this, and I am most sincerely sorry that you have this to deal with on top of everything else that you must be dealing with, just living as a Blessed member.

I saw from your info that you were Blessed the same year I joined - 1989! I have heard that the early days were very difficult and the members were required to make many brave and painful sacrifices to establish TP’s movement in the world. I am so sorry that now, when things should be less painful for members, this awful situation happens.

It is so difficult when people (perhaps good-intentioned, who knows?) misunderstand and try to spread their misunderstanding - in ways that are painful to members who have been faithful and who have suffered. It is particularly hard to deal with someone who is enamoured with their spiritual experiences to the point that they perhaps become dominated by them. They are so convinced they are right, and that their inspiration comes from a good source, that they

close themselves off to the possibility that they are being misled. There have been many instances in the history of the church, where an inspiration appeared good at first, but later led people to hell.

In CARP, when I joined, the leaders were very strict about spirituality. They taught that it was better not to indulge in it, as it was too easy to get carried away and misled. Indeed, it takes a very strong person - who is very grounded and down-to- earth, and humble enough to be open to the possibility that they are wrong - to handle such phenomena.

I do think that Mr. Beutl is being very misled by his phenomena, but I think that pushing against him so strongly, no matter how righteous our cause is, is only going to make him stronger in his ‘faith’, and make him feel that he is some sort of martyr. He won’t be open to self-reflection or open prayer to God regarding the possibility that he might be wrong. I do think that correcting him is good, but we must not let this frustrating situation destroy us with stress, so that we are unable to be effective for the Providence we participate in offline. And I understand that when we are feeling such strong emotions, that it is hard to have patience with someone who continues to spread views that could be detrimental to the Providence, and views that are very hurtful to others.

I have emailed Mr. Beutl more than once to inform him of how hurtful his words are, but I tried very hard to do it in a kind way. It took many revisions to edit out the strong words that were my first impulse to write to him, but would have made him closed-minded.

If anyone knows of TP’s definitive words of guidance on how to deal with such people, it would be very good to know those words. What is the best way, according to God, TP, and DP to handle encounters with people who spread hurtful and misleading things in such a way as to not make them become worse?”

Advice is called for on how to treat a person – who does not exist in this case. There is no Nikolaus Beutl who experiences some spiritual phenomena. Such things were made up in the mind of some people and spread successfully through hearsay and gossiping. In the many thousands of pages I wrote in my life you will not find a single word that I have some direct communication with the spirit world.

The struggling sister was comforted through these words: “Very sincerely, Thank you so much, dear Lara, I am taking your words here wholeheartedly and I want just to reflect from those words. With deep tears in my eyes,…”

Another sister came forward to give her viewpoint: “I wanna thank Sis. [name of the person who spoke about how I was 35 years ago] for sharing about Bro. Nikolaus in the early days. It’s just really so sad to know that Bro. Nikolaus did not seem to have changed in 35 yrs, still in ‘2ft. above the ground’. Not his fault though, after all he’s a mere ‘resultant being”. One thing I’ve learned about God’s Heart is that, God, the Uncaused CAUSE, the Absolute ORIGIN, takes full responsibility for man with all of his flaws and faults and failures.

Just this morning as I prepare this reflection my spiritual daughter – to whom I witnessed at that time which is referred here in the context of reminiscing from 35 years ago - called me on chat and we shared about the situation of Blessed Families. When I said that nowadays many Blessed mothers are free to help others because their own children do not need so much attention, she responded: “That’s what you are doing. I am moved by your heart. I just found some photos of you age 21 years, and recall the moments and what I received those many years ago. You are still the same, just a bit bigger heart - a lot bigger - a lot lot bigger. Your letters are very precious… overall I can see your heart is very giving, on the whole you give so much.”

Did I ask for any testimony from her side? Surely not. It was just offered “by chance” while I was writing this reflection. I could add here the testimonies of other spiritual children, I could add so many pages of high appreciation, but what do they count if the heart of the reader is closed? Nothing. And for those whose heart and mind is open, it is enough to listen to one of my spiritual children and they take this person’s word seriously.

It is up to the individual whom to believe, my spiritual daughter who knows my heart very well or somebody who never met me in person and has his or her own imaginations about me as the person I am quoting here, who continued in

her sharing: “Now, as man matures, gets ‘enlightened’, he comes to think and act/love like God feeling FULLY responsible for fallen man. That is our True Parents. That is our role as well, as people redeemed of True Parents’ LOVE. Now, the challenge remains for us to stop acting/thinking like a purely ‚resultant’ being(man) and really strive to embody God’s Divine Love.

In my response to Bro. Nikolaus’ long long letters, I told him; “The God, that I know is a God of ‘liberation and complete freedom’, who is able to wipe away all of my sins, fallen natures, guilt, worries, anger, resentments etc and shower me His overflowing, overwhelming, over-intoxicating LOVE. Your judgmental, vengeful God of the Old Testament Age can not inspire matured, enlightened people of this age.” Still, Bro. Nikolaus was respectful enough not to give angry response to me.”

Why should I react angrily? My Heavenly Father is not the God this person is talking about here. There is no reason that I would react as this sister imagines because she is only talking about what she thinks and not about what is an objective reality in my life.

“As [name] has pointed out, Bro. Nikolaus, does not really recognize authorities, just emphasizing on the ‘heart’. I can understand him, just as I can understand Hyun Jin Nim’s concern on the ‘perfection of the Heart’…of others. I can understand them perfectly because I, myself, was like them. But the fact is, when I reached the very core of God’s Heart and got ‘liberated’ from all of my aches and pains, I’ve changed 180 degrees. I, no longer, felt it necessary to look for the perfected heart of others, because I’ve already reached it myself and I’ve realized, God doesn’t care at all about our imperfections, sins and all. God just wants to love and love US, sacrifice and sacrifice for US, give and give without limit and without expecting anything in return. That is what God is. Just PURE LOVE.”

Two letters of gratitude were sent in response to this post: “Thank you, dear [name], for sharing about God’s love. It’s the most precious… I wish all of us, that we can know This Love with all our being, our body, mind and heart to liberate God, to liberate our hearts, to be free, to love…”

“Hey [name], I must say you really ‘out did’ your self with your last comment ! “ ha ha” Its excellent !! Especially this paragraph: “I, no longer, felt it necessary to look for the perfected heart of others, because I’ve already reached it myself … Just PURE LOVE. “

That’s it, we should really follow God’s great example and stop worrying about others imperfections and Fallen Natures and, and …! Lets follow God’s and True Parent’s example, by just Loving, with God’s Love those who ‘cross our path’ in our everyday Life ! * Thank you [name] *

And what about following up with these words? It is no problem for these members to talk about their brother in the iUnificationist Meeting House while I was kicked out, and had come forth with their own imaginations to spread gossip – without me having any chance to correct the false images that were multiplied there. This is their understanding of what it means to have reached the perfect heart, pure Love… Is this really where we stand today in the way that we treat God’s children, in the way that we treat one another? Aren’t we responsible for our brothers and sisters or don’t we care for them any longer because we ourselves receive the Love of God?

The struggling member who cannot love her brother wrote at that point: “Thank you, dearest Sisters, I appreciate much your greatness in pacifying things and putting things in order. In the school of True Love, I admit I am still really a student. Let’s take all this that is happening here that in a house that we are living, we are all members of one family and when there´s confusion, there’s a need of order and discipline, if not we can’t really be sure where we are heading for and here in the meeting house, we need only one direction, God and our True Parents, nothing else and we need to be sure of that here.

Thank you always for being the true sisters. With much love & blessings to all of you, I remain your sister,…”

The term brothers and sisters as sons and daughters of God and our True Parents, denotes that we have True Love and True Love encompasses all. True Love covers all, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 13: 4 - 7 “Love is patient, love is kind, love is not envious, or boastful or arrogant, or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable, or resentful, it does not rejoice in wrong - doing, but rejoices in the truth, it bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”.

In the iUnification Meeting House the decision was made: We are a family here - but Nikolaus is not our brother. Such is the standard that was shown while one of the sisters rejoiced: “Great Victory of Heart, Everyone. It’s just a matter of ‘putting ourselves in the other’s shoes’, so to speak, so we can build bridges not walls.”

Was any effort made by these sisters to see the wall that they erected, the barrier that was put up in front of their brother, who was thrown out, banned, and cut off? Nice words were spoken, but no heart shown for their brother whom they accuse of having no basis behind what he is saying. With one word, what the other person is accused of is practiced by oneself. None of those who spoke in the above quoted terms stood up for their brother. Their gossip is the real cause for their brother Nikolaus and their sister Elise having been banned from the iUnificationist Meeting House, the lies that were spread actively in this e-group.

Because the people in question are not aware of what they are doing, I have to tell them. Therefore I am writing reflections about God’s Word and how I see it (not) practiced in our church lest somebody will say at the end of his or her life that they did not know what was actually happening I send these reflections to thousands of brothers and sisters as my offering for them. What they do with it is of course up to the individual.

There are such clear testimonies like the statement by the national WFWP representative who wrote from first-hand experience about me: ”Everyday he worked very hard and brought some good guests in, supported our team leader, national leader and members. I never saw him create disunity, on the opposite, he was always trying to bring people closer in heart.”

It is proven in so many ways that I have been working for true unification all my life while the reputation that comes with my name is that I “never unite with anybody…” The opposite of what I am doing is shouted out loudly and easily believed. Every day I am reaching my hand out, listening to my brothers and sisters on this earth attentively, and still I am labelled as a person who is driven by the spirit world with my feet off the ground.

Do you remember what the first comment was on iUnificationist in response to my reflections? It said: “Very grounded…” It is all there. One day those who make all kinds of claims about me may be asked to come forward with some proof for what they are saying. It will be a very embarrassing hour for them. Because I love my brothers and sisters I try to help them realize what they are doing before the hour of bitter regret and repentance…
