Nikolaus Beutl

Do we recognize our Heavenly Father’s loving guidance? Part 9

The person, whom I quoted in previous reflections defending his brother, spoke out for what he knows to be true wrote in response to the WFWP representative: “I agree wholeheartedly with [name of this person] Let’s embrace one another as True Parents would like to see us do, beyond differences of opinion and our imperfect viewpoints.”

And to the sister who accused me he said: “I have not read everything that Nikolaus has written, but from the considerable amount that I have read, it seems to be an extreme reaction to label him a liar and false accuser, so out of character. And there is nothing wrong with being controversial. People may have easily misjudged him.”

But the accusing sister was not impressed and began to threaten this brother and the representative of WFWP: “And let’s stop this talk because we are getting nowhere and if you, Mrs. … and others agree and continue to support Mr. Beutl you go ahead but you expect opposition from me (and others, too) as long as I am here.”

This sister wrote “we are getting nowhere” because in reality she was just repeating again and again the same accusations without offering anything concrete to back up her criticism. While she claimed repeatedly that there is no substance to my words it was she who did not give any evidence that her claims are founded.

In other words, her prejudice against her brother solidified her pattern of continual criticism. Very sadly, she is not the only person who has such a problem but this is a widespread attitude, otherwise we would not have seen that this person’s attitude is well supported while brother Nikolaus and sister Elise were banned from this meeting place of Unificationists.

At this point one sister, who had commented before offered a contribution which sadly lacked in correct portrayal of facts: “What I do know about Nikolaus goes way back to 1975. Because when I joined in Klagenfurt Center, Nikolaus, we called him Klaus then, was one of the Members in that center. And I remember that he was always very independent in many ways. And he used to spent all day in the Prayer room. The Center Leader felt that something was not right, therefore he forbid him to stay in the prayer room all day. I found him always very spiritual, I mean like he was ‘two feet up the ground. And already at that time, whenever he spoke with me, it was always something spiritual and sort of preaching style. That’s why I felt I cannot really get to know Klaus Beutl, even we were in the same center, he would not share his real personal feelings just always his philosophical ideas…”

A philosopher who stayed all day in the prayer room… That’s what I am supposed to have been in 1975, with my two feet off the ground. That this sister did not get the year right is of course no problem. In reality it was in 1977/78 that I was living in the same center, not only with this sister but many other brothers and sisters.

Back in those days, what was I doing all day? I worked in a firm that was building gardens, starting from moving the soil and planting trees, along with a tree nursery. What this meant for me was heavy physical work from morning to evening, digging the soil and planting rather tall trees… During those years I was physically the strongest in my life due to the very hard physical work. At that time I could easily carry grown-up people on my shoulders (see photos on my website). In other words, I was very much down to earth literally.

This sister continued in her description of her brother: “He always gave you the feeling that he is way above your Level. And when I read his posts today they are very similar. When he says my dear brothers & sisters, don’t we have this or that problem , should we not do something about it ? I sense the same thing as 35 years ago, that he is not really internally including himself, only externally, because for some strange reason he feels that he is above all that. However as brothers and sister testify two opposite things about Klaus, I can imagine that both things are correct. Klaus does have a very warmhearted kind Nature, he is not vicious or mean. And he would never on purpose hurt somebody. He does not have any secret agenda. I think he simply is Klaus, with ‘two feet up the ground’. That’s how he was 35 years ago and still is today. Simply living more in the Spirit Realm then in the Physical Realm, and always sure that his point of view is definitely above the others point of view. That my dear brothers and sisters is my Conclusion in regard of Klaus, as I compared how he was 35 years ago in the Center in Klagenfurt, Sterneck strasse, and how he is now, based on analyzing his blog posts. But nothing can erase the fact that Klaus is a special Sibling for me, cuz we joined the church at a similar time, and in the same center. Sincerely…”

Again, it is no problem for me that this sister does not remember that I joined a couple of years prior to her in another center in the north of Austria and not as she writes in the same center, but I am sorry to say, when it comes to facts, this person is rather off the ground and not reporting facts but just personal impressions.

As you can see, the descriptions that are offered about brother Nikolaus are extreme like saying that I “spent all day in the Prayer room.” Maybe I was praying more than others as foundation for the spiritual children that I found at that time…

Pictures are painted about Nikolaus Beutl and others pick up on it, adding their own imagination based on hearsay, in many cases even without ever having met me in person. On the other hand there are people like the brother who defended me on iUnificationist. I do not know him personally, and did not receive any mail from him until I saw his comment in the Meeting House. It is obvious that he is fulfilling the meaning of his family name which is of Indian origin and means “shining”.

The above quoted post was followed by a second hand account: “Brothers and sisters, I would like to tell you sincerely what I was told by my very close friend about Nikolaus. She liked him a lot and was following him while he was in her country.

From her words, Mr. Beutl has very good and beautiful heart and dedication in his life, but in her country (Moldova) he made a lot of mess. So all the leaders gathered br and sis and told them not to follow him, cause he was not uniting with any central figure and not admitting any authorities and created big disunity that time between leaders and members.

She also told me that for her it was very hard to accept that, because sometimes she even felt that Mr. Beutl was like holy, but later on she saw things from DP point view and it became clear

for her, that Nikolaus would not lead her to God. So she concluded that from time to time he can be really misled by some spirits. So what I try to say, since from time to time he easy ‘goes off’, it can be dangerous to trust him wholeheartedly.”

Again misinformation was offered in order to portray a certain picture of brother Nikolaus, that he is a person who should not be trusted. But what are the facts of what actually happened in the country to which this sister was referring?

When you open volume 6 of the book Sunshine www.sunshine-in-the- heart.com/include/S_06.pdf in the Heart and read through the first 150 pages you will find many accounts by members of that nation of what the situation was actually like at the time when I came to visit this nation based on an invitation by one of its leaders. In these pages you can read quotations from more than two dozen brothers and sisters who were working at that time in in this nation and learn what they said about the situation in their country and about my work there.

That (Moldovan) sister said that “later on she saw things from DP point view…” But what was that view? It was leaders teaching that I am Satan, etc. Based on such a distorted “understanding” of the Divine Principle she drew her conclusions.

I am sorry to say, but in the above quoted post once again misinformation was offered to the subscribers of iUnificationist. As you can read, “the leaders gathered br and sis and told them not to follow him, cause he was not uniting with any central figure and not admitting any authorities and created big disunity that time between leaders and members.” Two years later the continental director to which this nation belongs, appointed me officially as a missionary to Georgia to build up the mission there, once again because not a single member was left so that I had to begin from scratch. Do you really think that Dr. Jun Ho Seuk would give such a mission to a person who creates disunity and does not unite with any central figure? You have the choice: To see the president of our church in Korea as incapable of recognizing what kind of person I am or realize that the above quoted message is once again another contribution to the on-going misinformation about Mr. Beutl.

These issues in connection with this country were discussed on the NM list and so you can learn also about various viewpoints that were expressed by national messiahs. One national messiah wrote in respect to the discussions that were going on in 2004: “I did not become involved as there is so much pain being caused by the continuing lack of heartistic leadership in our movement and sadly your [referring to my letters] posts merely highlighted that lack in some of our brothers. I am sure that many of the members I loved so much in the Ukraine and Moldova faded away because they were not loved but judged by law.”

It is proven in so many ways that I brought love and understanding, more unity between brothers and sisters, while judgmental leaders put me up as scapegoat for problems which existed in the country long before I ever set my foot on the soil of this nation.

The question remains: Are we ready to face facts and deal with them by evaluating situations based on reality or do we allow people’s emotions, fears, concepts, etc. to dominate our decisions? It is up to each one of us to learn to see others with God’s eyes and not allow prejudice to poison our hearts and minds into distrusting our brothers and sisters.
