Do we recognize our Heavenly Father’s loving guidance? Part 3

How do you feel after having read the first two installments of this series?

In the previous part you learnt about what had become a reality by March 11, 2011 with sister Elise and brother Nikolaus having been banned from iUnificationist by those who put themselves up as judge over Nikolaus and Elise – and later over her husband, not giving him the permission to become a member of iUnificationist, rejecting him because of the mentality of “kin liability”. Needless to say that Elise’s husband was exasperated when he received the rejection from the iUnificationist “moderators”.

Now can evil reign forever? Certainly not. Especially not in the ranks of those who are called to be God’s children who ”have the heart (emotion) of heavenly parents and the harmonious relationships of brotherly (sisterly) love, and permanently establish oneness” as foundation for the realization of Heaven or Cheon Il Guk.

Of course the “moderators” are also people with conscience and realized that such a situation as they have created it, is not in line with God’s Will and cannot be justified or defended, so they were searching for a way out, especially as members of the iUnificationist Meeting House began to stand up for their brother Nikolaus, who had been unjustly banned.

As I said it is understandable when the moderators acted out of the emotions of the moment and kicked out brother Nikolaus instead of dealing with the person who committed the offense and “crossed the line of decent conduct“ but I was shocked when I found out today with what kind of solution the moderators came up: They sacrificed the “wellbeing” of the community of 2600 subscribers of iUnificationist to get what they wanted.

Because some were not happy that the name of Nikolaus Beutl was there on the front page even up to three times among the top 10 contributions and remained for days, they wanted to get rid of me. The first reaction was to just throw me out, and those who spoke out for me just as well, with the attitude: Because I do not like what Nikolaus writes others should also not have the chance to read it.

When this sister attacked me in public it seemed the right moment to just throw me out because the general atmosphere was negative against me. But when they realized that they could not defend what they have done they searched for another possibility to get

me out of the way by changing the website itself so that my contributions would not appear any more on the front page of iUnificationist but only if one opened the blog page one would see what was posted recently.

And again from there one has to go further to open the section top content in order to see who contributes Top Content – what was before directly visible when opening the homepage of iUnificationist. When one opens this site now one finds instead of the contributions by the subscriber the photo section – with the same photos each time one opens the site – until they are exchanged after some days.

In other words, the spiritual aspect, the sharing from the heart, the contributions from the subscribers of this website have been taken out from the center of the website and “put into a corner” and substituted with photos that repeat over and over again…

When you scroll now down the first page of iUnificationist you will see a white h*** at the right bottom. This is the place where before the contributions by brothers and sisters were placed – actually it was at the center of the home page further above. The h*** is only down there because the other not so important content was moved upwards.

Here I cannot be silent when the sharing from the heart among 2600 members is sacrificed for the sake of the well-being of very few “moderators” – whoever these people may be. I have been fighting for years against such a practice of sacrificing the well-being of the members for leaders and have now come to this final turning point where it is ever so clearly proven what kind of spirit dominates our church.

It is not anymore the members’ sharing that stands in the center of this place in the worldwide net for Unificationists to express their Heart and Love, but it was removed from there because of personal problems of “moderators” and members who cannot love their brother – their brothers and sisters.

In the face of this ever so sad reality and so many others, it is no wonder that on the day sister Elise and brother Nikolaus were kicked out of the iUnificationist Meeting House the earth trembled in the mother country of Japan more strongly than ever before. On that day I sent a reflection to iUnificationist with the title: “If we become brothers and sisters we can break down all barriers.” quoting what True Father had told us a few days earlier in Las Vegas - but it was rejected. Instead of posting this article for the subscribers to whom it belongs, the subscribers, as it was written for them, I was kicked out of the community.

This means that instead of welcoming the mail advocating Father’s words telling us that we can break down walls by becoming brothers and sisters, a barrier was set up between me and the 2600 subscribers of iUnificationist so that when I next wanted to enter the website the message appeared that I am banned,

Such a situation means nothing less than stealing what belongs to the subscribers by misusing one’s position as “moderator”. Now that I was allowed back in this community this message was finally also accepted but it was put online with the date when I originally sent it so that in the view of the subscribers it did not really come to their attention unless they search my blog…

My dear brothers and sisters, please understand that I am talking here only about the peak of an iceberg in respect to problems. There are millions of dollars that were stolen or lost by leaders of our church, countless - who can count them? – members’ spiritual life was killed by leaders who put themselves up as center that must be obeyed and followed instead of guiding the precious brothers and sisters to a deeper relationship to our Heavenly Father.

When one has a closer look at what I am accused of – e.g. of wanting people to center on me – is the very point where so many leaders have a problem and therefore they are upset about me that I am pointing out exactly where their weak point lies.

As you know, I try to avoid mentioning names because all too easily again the spirit of judging this or that person prevails, but I am naming what is wrong in our own ranks – and for this there must be a public apology and deep repentance , turning away from evil ways.

From the viewpoint of heart and especially from God’s point of view very graves sins have been committed in front of our eyes but so few had the courage to speak up while keeping the right attitude of not wanting to kill the one who behaved like Cain, throwing one’s own resentments and frustrations at him or her.

Therefore our Heavenly Father had to choose a person whom he had prepared from the time before birth – already when my mother was pregnant with me as her next child she made a pilgrimage to Rome to dedicate my life to God – that I may serve Him all my life as priest…

When I first got to know the Divine Principle at the age of 16 I dedicated my life more than ever to do the Will of God, to respond to His desire. Of course I made many mistakes along the way but I can honestly say that I have been fighting all my life to find out God’s Will and to live according to how I understand the desire of our Heavenly Father.

What is my destiny? The same as yours and of all brothers and sisters who feel called to walk in the footsteps of our True Parents. What this means is well expressed in what Father shared in his speech “The True Foundation Day for the Nation of the Unified World” given on October 3, 1995: “In my Pledge there is one particular phrase: In the shoes of a servant, with the heart of a parent, shedding tears for mankind, shedding blood for heaven and shedding sweat for the earth.

Do you want to live such a life? If you go around twelve different nations and you are treated miserably, it means you are following in True Parents’ footsteps. You are offering that much. That is where God’s blessing will be bestowed.”

This is what I could experience to a certain extent, going around twelve different nations and being treated miserably, but in my case it is my own brothers and sisters who rejected me based on their own fears and personal problems which they projected on me. For this reason my course has been especially tough during the past 7 years when I invested to be “a servant of love” – as Father asked in the here mentioned speech – in various nations where I was asked by leaders and members to support them.

This 7 year course of rejection within our church, a very tough uphill battle which began in March 2004, has finally come to a turning point. For the first time I could return to a place in our church from where I was kicked out based on those who banned me changing their mind. It is in reality still a very tiny victory because those who threw me out did not change their attitude yet – otherwise they would have already offered a public apology for what they have done. They had to allow me back – in the given case into the iUnificationist Meeting House, because there was no chance to continue to keep me banned.

It is interesting how this message “Unite and restore the lost heart of brothers and sisters” has finally become the turning point of a course that began exactly 7 years earlier in March 2004. Even the country where it began and the person who first started to spread rumours about me came to be mentioned. Of course the person who did so had no idea of the internal background of my course but Heaven knows and guided this sister and so many brothers and sisters accordingly for the sake of resolving issues that have not been addressed and dealt with as our Heavenly Father was hoping for.

We are collectively responsible for what is happening in our midst and must take responsibility together. There is now the positive example of some members investing to help the sister who attacked brother Nikolaus that she may overcome her limitation to love - as the members of iUnificationist can Meeting House can read in the comments underneath the article “Unite and restore the lost heart of brothers and sisters”. May the theme of this reflection not remain a theory but become a reality step by step.

We have a long way to go to restore trust among us as members of the Unification Church because there has been so much misuse of position by leaders who failed to be the “servant of love” for their members who in turn developed strong resentments.

Because I go out to meet brothers and sisters and listen to their heart, I know well how deeply such resentments are seated and how widely they are spread in our church. Alone the fact that so few of the Second Generation are fully dedicated to following the path, which their parents once took upon themselves by joining the work of the True Parents, shows how many unresolved issues are still remaining in the hearts of the First

Generation that need to be taken care of for the sake of achieving thorough healing and reconciliation.
