Announcing the Hyo Jeong Europe and Middle East Missionary Program

In Autumn 2021 we inaugurated the Hyo Jeong Youth Academy in Europe with a 40-day workshop, in which 82 young Unificationists were able to learn and grow together through an exciting online course in spiritual leadership.

Having entered the year of the Black Tiger, we want to introduce the next iteration of activities of the HJ Youth Academy. In spring and summer of this year, young brothers and sisters are invited to join the Hyo Jeong EUME Missionary Program (EMP)!

EMP will be a 4-month program for young Unificationists (aged 18-35) to experience spiritual growth, develop their character, and become closer to our Heavenly Parent by connecting with God’s parental heart through witnessing and taking care of others. Through studying and teaching the Divine Principle, EMP participants will learn to live the Divine Principle in their daily lives and become supportive pillars for their communities.

There will be four main parts of the program: a Kick-off Workshop, a center-life witnessing mission experience, a Divine Principle Workshop with guests, and a Conclusion Workshop.

The workshops will take place at our newly-renovated training center in Gaflenz, Austria, and EMP participants will witness in cities such as Prague and Vienna and other cities in the EUME Region.

Why should you attend? Spirit and Truth are key to developing our relationship with the living God, and a living relationship with our Heavenly Parent is the only reliable foundation for a meaningful and happy life. While shorter Workshops give us a taste of these, a longer mission experience allows us to tap more deeply into the Divine Principle and the spirit of Hyo Jeong (the filial

heart that is the source of true confidence, creativity, and self-realization). By studying and teaching the Divine Principle you will testify to and witness its life-transforming power. EMP will help you to find your calling in God’s providence and become a supportive pillar for your community, the place where you will settle your family and raise your children.

Why “EMP”? The most common understanding of the acronym is “Electro-Magnetic Pulse”, which is a burst of energy that can interfere with electronics among other things. Like an EMP, our missionaries are a pulse of Universal Prime Energy disrupting the status-quo in a city and resetting the environment. Let’s bring a shockwave of Heavenly Parent’s love to the world!

Program Expenses The EMP staff will be provided by FFWPU Europe & Middle East, and the costs to cover basic living and traveling expenses for each participant is estimated at €2000 for the 4-month program. Due to the limited time before the beginning of the program, of the €2000 total, €1200 will be due by March 26. The remaining €800 will be due halfway through the program (June 1) and can be funded personally, or with support from various sources. We encourage families, communities, and nations to seriously consider financially supporting their interested young members as it will surely be a valuable investment for the future. We will monitor the various COVID regulations leading up to our Kick- off Workshop and will communicate all updates, including any changes that will need to be made due to governmental decisions outside of our control.
