Scotland invites you to attend the Cultivating Character Seminar, 18-19 May 2019

Our Scottish community are holding a 2-Day seminar in Glasgow on “Cultivating Character”, which is being partially sponsored by Baughman Education and the Scottish Universal Peace Federation.

There will be thought provoking and enriching presentations given by James A. Baughman, Ph.D.

We can learn universal insights from the great religious and moral philosophical traditions about how humans are designed as moral beings.

Good character comes from knowing the good, loving the good and doing the good.

Since all people are destined to take leadership roles in society as citizens, teachers and parents, it becomes imperative their influence be benevolent, wholesome and constructive in order to establish a world of goodness and peace.

Some of the questions that will be answered are:

Why is it important to be a person of good character?

How do we distinguish between virtue and vice?

What is the nature of good character?

How do we grow and become people of good character?
