We are pleased to announce that the next Virtual Faculty Roundtable event will take place on Wednesday, November 18 from 5-6 pm EDT, featuring Dr. Mark Barry, Associate Editor of the peer-reviewed International Journal on World Peace, Managing Editor of the Applied Unificationism Blog, and a lecturer in Management at UTS.
What is the Faculty Roundtable Series? The Faculty Roundtable Series is dedicated to presenting current academic research conducted by UTS faculty, alumni, and students. Each event will feature a new speaker and topic and include an opportunity for questions and commentary.
Topic Description After three meetings between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, how will the Biden administration approach dealing with North Korea and will it be able to coordinate effectively with South Korean President Moon Jae In? This roundtable will briefly reflect on the Korean policies of the Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump administrations, and assess the prospects for diplomatic achievement by the incoming U.S. administration. An argument will be made for a Camp David-style approach to bringing permanent peace and stability to the Korean Peninsula.
We look forward to seeing you there!
