Crescentia DeGoede appointed head of Department of Family Ministry

I am delighted to inform you about some exciting, new young faces recently appointed to leadership positions here at Family Federation/HSA-UWC Headquarters in New York.

Crescentia DeGoede, supported by her husband Leighton, have been appointed to work and lead in the Department of Family Ministry, with special focus on young adult issues including matching, Blessing and newly-married couples.

You may recall from my earlier reports that Leighton answered True Mother’s call to spend a month in Kona, Hawaii this past June and July to direct a Divine Principle youth workshop there. Impressed by his enthusiasm and sincere heart, and Crescentia’s leadership potential, True Mother recommended them to this post.

This past weekend, we held a national planning retreat at East Garden, where Crescentia and other members of our expanding young leadership team met together with Bishop Kim’s family and my family, representatives of the District Pastors and National Council, newly-appointed USA CARP President, Naokimi Ushiroda, and others. We are all inspired about the excellent young people stepping up to take leadership, and hope to see many more.
