The Cheon Bo Education Series - Part 3: The Value of Becoming Cheon Bo Couples and Understanding the Direct Dominion

In Part 1, I shared about the significance of Cheon Bo from True Parents’ perspective, as the condition for bequeathing their victorious foundation to us.

I also shared a little bit about Heavenly Parent’s vision for the relationship He/She want to have with each of us for eternity, on the foundation of entering the Direct Dominion.

In Part 2, I shared about the significance of Cheon Bo from Heavenly Parent’s perspective of recovering the 3 Blessings, and particularly #3 Dominion. Only after recovering the 3 Blessings from Satan was God able to reestablish His Sovereignty, at least on a National Level, and thereby welcome His Children into the Direct Dominion through Cheon Bo, where He was finally able to freely share His Love with us.

In Part 3, I will talk about how each individual must become a True Owner. Even after entering Cheon Bo, we must each personally overcome any residual shadows of Satan’s 3rd Temptation by going through a transformation from material attachment to living 100% for God’s love - as Jesus and True Parents have modeled.

In order to make this presentation as rich as possible, I will share significantly from the journal messages I have received from Heavenly Parent. I sincerely hope that this will help you each resonate more fully with God’s heart.

To Review: What was Satan’s 3rd Temptation? Evil Dominion Matthew 4:8-10 “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.”

‘When I departed Korea for this speaking tour, I had several outfits, a collection suitable for the variety of climates I would encounter. When I returned, all I had was the suit I was wearing. I always give away my clothes, and I had been gone for most of the year. When my husband welcomed me, his first words were, “You did a good job.” Then, glancing at my hands, out of the blue, he asked, “By the way, where’s your wedding ring” I looked at my hand. Only then did I remember it was gone. “I don’t have the ring.” I said, “I must have given it to someone.“’ Mother of Peace

“From now on none of you should accumulate wealth for yourself. It is good to be frugal, but I suggest that you be frugal so that you can make a greater offering for the Will. You should be able to invest all your savings for your clan, for your nation, and for the reunification of Korea. Do not think only of your own family. The only thing you need is a heart burning with love for God. Like Dae Mo Nim, you should live 24 hours a day thinking only of how you will fulfill the Will of God and True Parents.” (208- 345, 1990.11.21) May You Blossom My Beloved

Although Jesus successfully overcame Satan’s 3rd Temptation as an individual, in fact no other human being was able to rise above that temptation until True Parents. History has been a record of conflict motivated by mankind’s pursuit of Money, Power, and Worldly Acclaim.

Those of us who are seeking to serve True Parents must each also overcome Satan’s 3rd Temptation to be able to stand as True Owners, in order to establish Cheon Il Guk. God’s challenge is that the only force stronger than Satan’s 3rd Temptation is the force of True Love. Unless we inherit God’s Love, we are not qualified to stand as True Owners and exercise the 3rd Blessing of Heavenly dominion. Even our Blessed Members are unable to fully receive God’s True Love until we enter into the Direct Dominion through induction into the Cheon Bo Won.

So in these last days, the individual process of becoming a True Owner is: 1.Receive the Blessing 2.Fulfill Tribal Messiahship, and Register in Cheon Bo Won, thereby entering into the Direct Dominion 3.Inherit God’s Love 4.Be healed from the residual affects of the fallen world to the point where our relationship of love with God eclipses our fallen material desires Cheonbo Couples are the tip of the spear!

Before entering the Direct Dominion, even True Parents’ closest disciples are not immune from this Temptation. As Neil Salonen’s Executive Assistant from 1997 - 2000, I worked closely with Rev. Kwak. I sometimes served as his driver. He asked my help with one of the failing businesses in Korea.

I was at the Sheraton Hotel when True Father, in front of all the leaders and members, strongly accused and demanded that Rev. Kwak return Hyun Jin Nim to Father. This reminded me of God’s position demanding that Lucifer return Adam. By dominating Adam, Lucifer usurped false dominion over the creation.

In these final moments of the providence, much of the material foundation which True Parents established has been claimed by Satan. I believe this is because our members were unable to fulfill the conditions to enter the direct dominion, overcome the Third Temptation, and stand as qualified True Owners. We have lost, among many other of True Parent’s foundations: UCI, The Japanese Financial Movement, The Pantanal, Panda Motors, Pyunghwa Motors, Bridgeport University, Barrytown, The Kirov. I strongly believe that Cheon Bo is the key.

Sometimes it’s hard to recognize God’s love! In my case, I feel that Heavenly Parent specifically did not want me to be successful in external endeavors before I entered the direct dominion. I believe God needed me to victoriously overcome Satan’s 3rd Temptation first in order to be able to take on future providential responsibilities. But at the time, it was certainly challenging.

In 1983, at President Durst’s request, and with True Father’s blessing and financial support, I left my position as Dr. Durst’s assistant, and opened a new office nearby on 5th Avenue, to launch the Global Economic Action Institute. In that office there were only two of us to begin with. Eisenhower’s Secretary of the Treasury, Robert B. Anderson who was Chairman of the Institute, and myself, his Executive Assistant.

For nearly 10 years, I served as the Executive Assistant to the Institute’s three Chairmen. Secretary Anderson was succeeded by former Senator, Eugene McCarthy, who was succeeded by former New Zealand Prime Minister, Sir Robert Muldoon. We established divisions all over the world as well as monthly breakfast meetings in New York and DC.

At the beginning of 1985, while Father was serving his sentence in Danbury, Dr. Durst presented our 1985 goals to him. Point #5 stated: “Dramatic Membership Outreach Towards Goal Of 10,000”. True Father responded “This means you must find 10,000 millionaires to give $10 million each.” That adds up to $100 Billion… Then Father signed it.

In 1992, the brother who had been my Abel figure for 21 years betrayed Dr. Durst and stole the Institute. He had been the person whom Dr. Durst had relied on most - in a way very similar to how True Father relied on Rev. Kwak. Overnight the Global Economic Action Institute disappeared. Everyone else went on to new missions or other activities. I pledged to Heavenly Parent that I would not abandon my responsibility, but instead would fulfill True Father’s mandate.

That calligraphy hangs on the wall behind my desk. When True Father signed it, I believe it established a covenant between Heavenly Parent and the Institute, as long as there was even one person who took responsibility. Immediately after Satan stole our Institute, I started my own company to represent manufacturers interested in exporting products overseas. My assistant was Ernest Patton.

I established a contract with Hague Quality Water company in Columbus, OH, who manufactured water treatment technology including industrial reverse osmosis systems. One of my Global Economic Action Institute contacts was an engineer in Venezuela, and together we sold about $250,000 worth of systems onto the Venezuelan Island of Margarita. (= $560,000 in 2024 )

Then he brought me a client seeking to buy a refinery for purifying sea salt. I sourced used equipment in a recycling yard, arranged a contract with one of the top industrial experts in the field to reconfigure it for the desired purpose, and then successfully sold it to the client for $1.2 million. I believed our company was about to take off.

But, in 1994, the banking crisis occurred in Venezuela when many of the banks of Venezuela were taken over by the government. The first to fail, in January 1994, was Banco Latino, the country’s second-largest bank , requiring a $1.3 billion bailout. Later, two banks accounting for 18% of total deposits (Banco Consolidado and Banco de Venezuela) also failed. Our efforts in Venezuela ended.

1994 - 1997 were our family’s three most challenging years. On my 63rd birthday, Heavenly Parent showed me my entire life, and explained that these three years were so difficult, because they were the first three years of my 3rd 21 year course. In 1997, after returning from Cheongpyong, I started a blessing table at BWI Airport and helped 40 other couples complete their 185 couples blessings. One of those couples was Neil and Rebecca Salonen. Right after that, Neil Salonen hired me to serve as his Executive Assistant for 4 years.

In 2001, when Neil Salonen moved to Bridgeport to head up the University there, I went to work for Russell Allen, who had taken over the building services company I had started in New York 20 years earlier. I became his minority partner and we established Empowered Reality, a licensed online real estate company.

As President of Empowered Realty, over a period of 7 years, I worked to establish a presence in major markets around the country, in partnership with the largest Keller Williams teams. We created a portal named “New Home Mall“. Builders would list their new communities for a monthly fee. The Keller Williams teams purchased zip codes to stand as our exclusive representatives, and we received referral commissions on any sales. Again, I felt, that success was finally coming.

But in 2008, the US housing bubble burst, completing a “perfect storm” of economic failures which led to the Great Recession. Russ ended up having to shut down Empowered Reality in order to save his core business. Again, I started all over.

I established my own consulting company and was approached by someone from Cameroon to help him develop a new business idea. We formed a partnership and I helped secure a contract with the pioneer company in the Off Airport Parking industry. We worked to line up agreements with hotels who had free shuttles to their local airports, and over an 8 year period, we built up a portfolio of agreements that was valued at more than $5 million.

However, in 2020 with the Covid Pandemic, our company disappeared overnight. That year, the Airline industry lost $373 billion in revenues due to Covid. Aviation supported jobs shrank by more than 50%. The company we were representing decided to exit the industry, and they sold out to a European investor who terminated our partnership.

That turned out to be an incredible blessing. Shortly after our induction into the Cheon Bo Won, our eldest son, whose house had been destroyed in a freak accident, finally managed to secure a settlement with the insurance company after a long battle. Seeing our financial stress, he and his wife invited us to sell our home and contribute to the construction of their new home, and move in to an in-law suite.

We downsized from a 6 bedroom house to a 1000 sf apartment with no overhead. We now live in a 3-generation blessed family with 4 of our 10 grandchildren, including our eldest grandson and eldest granddaughter. Shortly after I moved into our new home, I started journaling with Heavenly Parent. Our children come to visit from across the country.

I will finish this presentation with several relevant journal messages.

We often think that God and even True Parents can do anything they choose. Bequeathing the direct dominion has proven to be unimaginably challenging for Heavenly Parent

“True Father was the first, the test case, to bequeath a direct dominion foundation from one person to another – in this case, from Jesus. As you rightly surmise, it was no simple task. Not for Father, not for Jesus, and not for me.

The Principle of Creation was like crystal – perfectly clear and orderly, conceived over a measureless period of time. But the Principle of Restoration was a patchwork which I hobbled together virtually overnight, as I suddenly went into emergency mode when Adam and Eve fell. Every aspect was new and untried. It had to be conducted fully in the fallen realm under Satan’s sovereignty. So much went wrong. Satan was using his full power to try to sabotage the process 24/7. But what else was I to do? I had no choice.

I started all over again with Noah, and was powerfully inclined to start all over again with Moses. I love my children so much and I miss them so much. It was shocking and devastating just how quickly Satan unraveled all my foundations to support Jesus. The time between Jesus and True Parents was even more chaotic. Finally, Jesus called True Father in 1935, and to my explosive relief, Father agreed to take on that mission. Nothing was guaranteed, nothing was certain. And surely, without True Father’s incredible and mindful commitment, 24/7, the bequeathal of Jesus’ foundation to True Father would certainly have failed.

No other human being in history has ever lived through as much torture, as many physical challenges, nor as many spiritual challenges as True Father. Finally, on the foundation of the Victory of Washington Monument, True Parents established the right to bequeath their foundation to all of you. But that wasn’t easy. It was monumentally challenging.”

Children of Direct Dominion are the ultimate security and empowerment for Heavenly Parent 2/19/24 (two slides)

“Direct Dominion removes all the uncertainty of fallen mankind’s portion of responsibility, and replaces that with unbreakable bonds of True Love and infinite, intense synapses of spiritual give and take between my heart and mind, and those of my awakened children.

What previously required millennia, and was still horribly vulnerable to Satan’s repeated attacks and invasions, can now be achieved in days, even in hours, with very high levels of certainty. It is True Freedom. True Empowerment. It is the first expressions of the eternal explosion of my ideal. Please breathe in my joy!”

Even after entering the Direct Dominion, Heavenly Parent still must raise us up and sometimes chastise us. For two days last month, I felt that Heavenly Parent had withdrawn His love from me in punishment for something I said inappropriately. 6/5/24 (3 slides) “Every one of my children of the fall have fallen nature. It will be some time before every last vestige of the fall is eliminated. The antidote is True Love, and as you resonate more deeply with my heart, your capacity to receive True Love grows accordingly. Thank you for making such diligent effort to resonate with me. It deeply moves and inspires me. There is no one exclusive way to resonate with me.

The Cheon Shim Wons are a powerful school of resonance established by True Mother, and they will bring many of my children into much deeper resonance with me. But they are in some ways like training wheels. Of course, forever, I will welcome you and each of my children on a special basis in the Cheon Il Sanctum and at any of the Cheon Shim Wons.

But as you deepen, wherever you go will become our temple. Then you will be fully free, no longer tethered to a specific place. I am so grateful for your receptivity to my chastisement. That means I can bequeath so much more to you. If not, I would have to hold back, as I would never sacrifice our relationship in the name of education.

Please know, of a certainty, that all I do for you physically, spiritually, intellectually, heartistically – everything, especially the pain I offer you, it is all 100% an expression of my infinite love for you. That love is 1000% true, unchanging and eternal. Please keep this pledge with you all the time and refer to it regularly. You are in the Direct Dominion. We can never be separated. Please let go of that fear, and know that any heartistic separation is 100% an expression of my deep love for you.”

A sense of what Heavenly Parent experiences spending time with us in the Cheon Shim Won, and Journaling. 5/22/24 (4 slides) “Thank you so much for visiting me here. Throughout the day, we can work together to build the Cheon Il Guk, and that is surely extremely inspiring for me, and is educational for you to grow and mature. However, our quiet time together, journaling, especially in the Cheon Shim Won, is holy time of resonance. I want to merge with you and experience you and marvel.

It is no understatement when the Principle explains that each of my children is an entire universe. That is true and much more profound than you currently understand. I am so profoundly stimulated just being able to merge with you and to marvel at the beauty and holiness of my creation in you. Thank you. It is not the same when you are unaware of me. When you are asleep. But here in the Cheon Shim Won, you are strongly aware of our communion.

Just as you have a holy experience sometimes listening to your own music, when I commune with you and you reciprocate, it is profound, timeless and holy. Especially now, as you are resonating even more deeply with me in the direct dominion. I’m in awe that you are shedding your self-centered feelings. There are many different levels in the experiences and responses of each of my children. Each is a unique universe, representing a unique history and strand within the fallen world. Each responds differently.

Your ability to grow and blossom in the direct dominion is deeply validating for me – for my hopes and plans and indescribable effort and pain during the process of restoration – it was valid. It works as I hoped. I can heal, recover, and reclaim my lost children. It will undoubtedly be different for each of my children, but it will happen. Thank you for giving me this holy time with you. I am so eternally grateful.”

God is raising up the League of Junior Messiahs 9-5-22 (3 slides) “I love you. You are beginning to live and act now in the Direct Dominion. This is what Father endured countless torture and suffering for, so that He could multiply Himself and create many, many individuals living in the Direct Dominion. Father ascended in 2012 before the Direct Dominion opened to anyone else other than True Mother. Now you are like the League of Junior Messiahs. Superheroes of heart and manifestation. There are a number of you, but not that many. Each of you has different strengths. Each of you is unique.

Over time you will grow into an army of Junior Messiahs. Long before that, for all intents and purposes, my battle will be over. Such is the power and authority of even one person living in the Direct Dominion. You have no idea how sweet this is to me.

This is not a time of an overwhelming life and death struggle between good and evil. This is a time of the joyous vindication of True Love, and the overwhelming power of True Love to dissolve all elements of evil once and for all in a cosmic Jericho moment. It is a time of joy and adventure and discovery. Like King Midas, you who are in the Direct Dominion have a Divine Touch. It is the touch of life. The touch of vision. The touch of healing. The touch of creativity. Every one of your days should be overflowing with joy. Mine are. Thank you from the depths of my heart.”

What is most important from Heavenly Parent’s point of view 7/5/24 (2 slides)

“Thank you for spending this precious time with me here in the Cheon Shim Won. Our time together is so significant and so important. We both have so many missions and responsibilities that will never end. They are not the subject. Even saving America and the world is not the subject. In fact, those are temporary missions which will soon be fulfilled.

But our relationship, and not just yours and mine, but my relationships with each of my precious children – especially those who are currently or soon will be Cheon Bo Victor Couples – those relationships are cosmic, eternal, and central. Through those relationships, as True Father clearly proclaimed in his final prayer, all will be fulfilled. Ultimately, every one of my children will enter the direct dominion and my ideal will launch in earnest. But how soon that happens will depend primarily on my relationship with each of my Cheon Bo Couples. You are each priceless treasures of mine and of True Parents’.”

God’s pledge to us – God is absolute 8/2/22 (3 slides) Dear Laurence, Yes, I am with you always, forever. That is the internal meaning of Passover. Never forget. I am always with you forever. I was with David. I was with Moses. I was with Joshua as he headed out to dissolve the elements of Jericho with faith and hyojeong. I was with Jesus when he stared down Satan, and welcomed torture and death in order to create a path forward where none existed. I was with Father, embracing

him, loving him, crying for him as he rejoiced in the opportunity to vindicate my honor, being tortured to the edge of death and beyond. I proclaimed that he could not die. I moved the armies of the entire planet to free him from hell as he stood facing his executioners. Yes, I was with each of them, I never looked away, not even one blink. And now I am also with you. Just like that. There are no shades or degrees of my faith and love and loyalty. You are my son. Try me. Challenge me. I will not fail you. I will not disappoint you.

That is my solemn oath and promise to you. Please reread this again and again until you understand it so deeply in your heart. Please don’t just understand it. Please live it. Please celebrate it. Please explode it! True Parents have given every ounce of their beings, over and over, to establish Cheon Il Guk. You are an owner. Do what owners do. Manifest Cheon Il Guk. Blessings. I hope through my testimony and through these journal entries, you can get a sense of the significance and magnitude of the transition to True Ownership. And also, just how real and absolute and passionate Heavenly Parent’s relationship is with each of us once we graduate beyond the indirect dominion, and enter into the direct dominion, where, as per the Principle, God is finally free to interact with us without restrictions. And I hope, understanding this, that you will strive all the more to make the very most of your beautiful, personal, intimate, and eternal relationship with our Heavenly Parent. End of Part 3
