The Cheon Bo Education Series - Part 1: The Value of Becoming Cheon Bo Couples And Understanding the Direct Dominion

This Cheon Bo series is something I have been thinking and praying about for some time now. President Dunkley suggested that I begin by presenting it here in Sub Region 2. Today, this presentation has deep significance for me. Thanks to each of you for being here. (Prayer) President Dunkley has emphasized the importance, especially for our 2nd and 3rd Gens, to have a strong sense of our Identity as Children of True Parents. Today’s presentation and this series will address that in depth. I will refer heavily to True Parents’ words, and also to a lesser degree, to Dr. Yong’s words. I will finish with some content from my own journaling with Heavenly Parent. I will address the Significance of Cheon Bo, the History of Cheon Bo, our Current position in the Providence, and also the Ideal from God’s Perspective, as I Understand it. Let us begin.

Originally, God’s ideal at the time of the Creation was for Adam and Eve to reach perfection and become the true parents. That position must be rectified, and the original ideal must be attained. May You Blossom (148-040, 1986.10.04)

It has not been possible to connect the words “true parents” to the time after the Fall. God’s ideal of creation began with True Parents at the center. However, because of the Fall, people’s lineage changed to something completely different. May You Blossom My Beloved Pg. 75-6 (491-144, 2005.03.18)

The only thing that is absolute is God’s concept of True Parents that He had in His mind before the creation, a fundamental idea that is connected to God’s love, life and lineage. All the ideas, concepts and relationships that you think about, have no relationship whatsoever with the ideal of True Parents before the Fall. Cheon Bo represents God’s original ideal, to bequeath to his biological children the fullness of his spirit and love and creativity as God comes to indwell with his children. It is the gateway through which every one of God’s Children transitions to become True Parents, in full oneness with God. Everyone, without exception is destined to go through that transition and enter into God’s Direct Dominion.

Originally, it was to happen at the time of Adam and Eve’s Marriage Blessing. And then, through them, as the original True Parents, it was to be bequeathed to each of their descendants at their Marriage Blessings. It should have been the most natural and the most glorious and most joyful event for each couple, to enter into a direct dominion relationship with God, having fulfilled their portions of responsibility to achieve individual perfection.

Due to the fall, God was never able to bequeath His essence into any of His Children until Jesus.

Jesus said “The Kingdom of God is Within You”. Luke 17:20-21

What did that mean?

Immature children, especially in a world dominated by Satan, can never build God’s Kingdom. Each of us has the potential and the destiny to become True Parents and form an eternal partnership with God living in our hearts. But before we can create a true family, much less a true tribe or nation, we need to become True Parents ourselves.

True Parents came, at the end of God’s long and painful history, to create the way for all mankind, both those on earth and those in the spirit world, to become True Parents and reclaim our destiny as God’s eternal partners and eternal objects of love within the Direct Dominion.

“Your destination is the eternal dwelling place of the True Parents. Mother and I are not going to be the only True Parents. My goal is to make all of you true parents. It is the greatest honor that I can give to you. Now is the Golden Moment, when True Mother is still alive on the Earth. It is a time of incredible grace. If we can become True Parents ourselves, and attend True Mother from that Position while she is still alive, it will be our eternal treasure and pride.

On the Foundation of the Washington Monument victory on September 18, 1976, True Parents launched Home Church as a condition through which Blessed Couples can inherit True Parents’ victory and enter the Direct Dominion becoming Tribal Messiahs. “The 360 homes will represent all the different nations and races on this earth. To establish True Parents, God had to scale an unimaginable mountain. True Parents have likewise scaled an impossible summit to win the condition by which they could bequeath True Parentship to us. Our hill is symbolic and small.

What would you do without home church? How would you accomplish your task? Without home church, you would have to walk around the entire world like a gypsy; you would have to cover the entire world by yourself. Home church, however, is the microcosm of the world; without it you would have to go to the macrocosm, the entire world. Blessed Family 6.20.82, Belvedere

God did not prevent me from going to the communist prison camp or stop people from opposing us. God could have prevented those things but He would not. The path of indemnity is utterly serious… It is only after you do your 5% that you can be connected with me. If I had not done my 5% I would not have any connection with God. It is a great revolution that Unification Church can do home church, at the same time transcending national barriers, racial or cultural barriers… You and I pass away from earth, but we will not have to finish the unfinished task later by coming back to earth. Once you finish the task here victoriously, you will go to the Kingdom of Heaven in heaven, where you can enjoy life eternally with God. Restored Family 1.21.79, Belvedere

However. if we ascend now, before becoming True Parents, then we still must complete our portion of responsibility. The entire history of restoration is a testament to the absolute principle that God will never usurp our portion of responsibility.

“I tell you this absolutely clearly: you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven without going through home church. Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, the life, and no one comes to the Father but through me.’ But I am saying, ‘I am the way, the truth, the life and love, and no one comes to the Father without coming through home church.’” History of the Providence Through Restoration by Indemnity 2.10.81, World Mission Center

Home church is your world. Go ahead and duplicate the world of God in this small area. Love them as much as God loves them. When you do this, the 95% God created through me will be given to you for free. To inherit this, you must walk the way of life I have walked, for even a short time. Tragically, The Providence to Bequeath Tribal Messiahship Through Home Church Failed

As in both Moses’ and Jesus’ second courses, the victory that was possible in Father’s 2nd 40 year wilderness course (1945-1985) went unrealized.

Heung-Jin died in place of True Father in 1984. And later that year True Father went to Danbury Prison.

The 3rd 40 year course began in 1985. In the next 7 years True Parents reclaimed the world level victories through their unity with Mikhail Gorbachev and Kim Il Sung. During that time, beginning in 1989, True Parents launched Tribal Messiahship/Hometown Providence.

After that, in 1992, True Father turned over the leadership of our movement to True Mother. At the end of her first 7 year course, Satan Surrendered (March 21, 1999) at the Hotel Americano, in Nabileque, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. On that foundation, we were able to begin ancestral liberations and blessings, and the Cheon Bo providence opened up.

Through the liberation of our ancestors, members gained tremendous spiritual support. What had previously been very difficult became increasingly achievable.

From the time she began her leadership in 1992, True Mother proclaimed Cheon Il Guk in 21 years, on Foundation Day, January 13, 2013. From the time Ancestral Liberations began in 1999, True Mother held the first Cheon Bo Won Induction of more than 3,000 Couples and their tribes in 21 years, on October 10, 2020.

Now with the global Cheon Shim Won revival True Parents are mobilizing incredible miracles and spiritual support. Nothing is impossible.

How to Fulfill Cheon Bo? I am telling you, our 1% portion of responsibility is to really be serious to do it. Then God will show us how to do it. Our Blessing Table at BWI Airport

We completed our 430 Blessings in less than 4 months, and helped a number of other couples with theirs.

Larry Moffitt came to our table and blessed some couples. Then he ordered two hats with a message about one million blessings, a tray for juice cups, and instead of the airport, he and Taeko went to Walmart, put their tray in a shopping cart, and walked up to shoppers in the parking lot to give blessings. It was very successful and they finished quite quickly.

Pat Detlefsen is the wife of my spiritual son, George Detlefsen, who ascended in 2005, and has been serving as the senior advisor to our Ancestral Committees. Pat was a psychological counsellor and helped many members deal with serious emotional problems. However, she had not been able to finish her Cheon Bo blessings. In 2023, she suffered a spinal stroke during heart surgery and was paralyzed from the neck down on a respirator. Several sisters in SR5 went out and did blessings on her behalf so she could register. She ascended as a Cheon Bo Couple to join George. If you are determined, God will surely help!

Once we become True Parents and God’s Eternal Partners and Eternal Objects of Love, then what will God’s focus be in relation to us? As Cheon Bo couples, we enter the Direct Dominion, where God can freely intervene with us and with our family and tribe. God actively seeks to raise up our couple as True Parents, and to help us raise our own family and tribe.

And as children of hyojeong, and eternal partners of our Heavenly Parent, we naturally feel ownership and responsibility to liberate God’s han, and to return all mankind and all creation into holy resonance with God’s heart. With such a heart, God can powerfully work through us to complete the nation of Cheon Il Guk and build the Heavenly Kingdom.

Then what is God’s vision for Heaven? Contrary to some popular theologies, I don’t believe that God went through all this effort to just sit around and receive praise from his children for eternity. Is that what you want from your children? God could have already achieved that with His angels, without a need for any children.

Nor do I believe that God wants to just celebrate with His children for eternity. That can get old really fast. And lavishing limitless blessings on your children with no effort on their part is death. What good parent would do that?

The following are three journaling messages I received from Heavenly Parent over a 10 day period in August, 2023. In them, Heavenly Parent speaks about the relationships He/She desires with us.

Laurence Baer Journal (3 slides) 8/3/23

Tribal messiahship is not simply a formula. Yes, there is a condition to graduate from the indirect dominion, but from there, the process of uniting in resonance with my heart involves a powerful commitment, faith, and investment on the part of each of my children. I am enthusiastically encouraging each one, but I cannot do their part for them.

The Cheon Shim Won providence is like a tuning fork chamber for resonating with my heart. It makes our communication and resonance much easier. It is the perfect training ground for Tribal Messiahs… This is a time of intense battle and Satan’s constant efforts to distract and divert Heaven’s forces. The Cheon Shim Wons are protected chambers where all the interference can be filtered out.

Thank you for respecting and honoring the Cheon Shim Wons. Our work together is moving very well. I am extremely inspired. I am working with your family, with your ancestors, with your angels, with your extended family. I love you very deeply. Eternally, Heavenly Parent

Laurence Baer Journal (5 slides) 8/10/23

Good Morning Dearest Laurence, I am very touched by your heart and attitude. You know, don’t you, that throughout history, until 3 years ago, I had exactly 3 children who achieved direct dominion, and with whom I could begin to experience the reality of the creation of my dream. Three. Out of 2 Trillion.

Jesus only survived a few years. True Father was a warrior. He spent his entire life in battle, in order to recover my sovereignty. True Mother lived internally until 2012, unable to express or manifest her heart, except as directed by True Father. I have not had opportunity to explore or enjoy direct dominion relationships with my children very much.

In these past 3 years, not very many of those who were inducted into the direct dominion as Cheon Bo Victors have come to own that relationship with me. Their whole lives they have been trained in a 1-way relationship looking to me for all guidance, purpose, and direction. That mindset subverts the purpose and design of the creation.

As I shared with you, and as Dr. Yong shared, my whole focus is to support and lift up my children of Direct Dominion as they, with their passion and conviction, take initiative and responsibility and ownership for some aspect of the providence, either of restoration, or of building the Heavenly Kingdom. Then, as their partner, just as I am doing with you, I find extreme joy in helping them realize THEIR dream.

What could be more exhilarating? If you don’t agree, then you need to revisit your relationship with your own children and grandchildren. I am so blessed by you. You are seeking to proclaim this reality to our movement and to the world. We are resonating. Thank you! Eternally, Heavenly Parent

Journal Message to Laurence Baer (4 slides) 8/12/23

Good Morning Dearest Laurence, Thank you for searching for me so seriously. Thank you for taking True Parents’ and Dr. Yong’s words so seriously. For making such serious goals, for offering such big prayers with so much diligence and consistency for so many years. How could I ignore or deny you? If I did that, then so much of what I have taught would be contradicted and rendered false.

But I have not responded to you as a way of protecting my integrity. Please never embrace that idea. I have responded to you rejoicing that someone takes me seriously. No, I am not the cosmic Santa Claus. That is such a distortion and fabrication of my true heart and identity. I am the cosmic parent, who wants nothing more powerfully than the longing I have to partner with each of my children,

centered on life-affirming, exciting challenges to build and realize the ideal that has only existed in my heart since before the dawn of time and space. It is in that unity of heart and energy, and overcoming challenges with our minds and spirits and energy that we can feel the most alive and exhilarated. True Parents shared that they are united because they share a common victory.

I want to experience that exhilaration with each of my children exponentially more than even what I shared with True Parents. Overcoming challenges is essential and fundamental to my dream and ideal. Can you imagine rock climbing on level ground? It is meaningless. But look at what Alex Honnold did at El Capitan!!! How can you even compare the two?

I am not seeking to drown my children in free blessings that they made no effort to receive. That is death. I want to raise up my children to share my passion and to partner with me to manifest their passion gloriously, in a way that leaves both of us speechless, in awe, and even tears. That is direct dominion. There is nothing that is impossible.

The bigger the dream for the will, the more excited and committed I am to establish that partnership and to make it happen. Please teach the Cheon Bo Couples my true heart. Eternally yours, Heavenly Parent
