Jesus' Birth, His Life, and His Second Coming - Slides

To start, I would like to share a video of a song I wrote – just a simple recording on my hand held digital recorder. I felt it would be the best window into God’s heart and plan. Tamar is the first of only a few women mentioned in Jesus’ ancestry. Her story is told in Gen Chapter 38. She lived some 40 generations before Jesus. Many historians and theologians look down at her as a prostitute. In fact, she is one of God’s great heroines, and is the model for Mary and the birth of Jesus. First the video, then some explanation:

The Fall resulted from an improper sexual relationship between Lucifer and Eve. Satan then dominated Eve to seduce Adam. IAngel’s sin I [Adam and Eve•s sin J e! • : Adam and Eve both became bound in blood ties with I I I • I •
Illicit satan. sexual relationship + Sexual parts - God has been working throughout history to restore (Ju 6 - 7) (G n. 3:7) (John 8:44) man back to His Holy Lineage Jude 6-7 - {Angel fell as a result of fornication) 6 And the angels who kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great Day 7 even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, in ike manner giving themselves over to fornicatio and going after strange f esh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Genesis 3:7 - {Adam and Eve, in shame, covered their sexual organs - not their mouths) 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves things to gird about.
John 8:44 - {Jesus revealed the fallen men are children of sata11) 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.
Hence - we can deduce that the fornication referred to in Jude 6-7 must have occurred between the angel and human beings.
The story of the Garden of Eden reveals the cause of the fall of Man. God intended Adam and Eve to grow up purely as brother and sister until they reached spiritual maturity – which was the first blessing. The commandment, “do not eat” referred to the importance of maintaining their sexual purity, until reaching that first blessing. Then God could joyfully bless them in Marriage, which was the 2nd blessing, and instruct them “now you may eat” – to enter into conjugal relations and bear children.
But before reaching that point, God said “if you eat you will die”.
Tragically Eve ignored God’s commandment, and at the risk of her life, entered into a sexual relationship with Lucifer on a spiritual level, and then seduced Adam. As a result, Adam and Eve and all their descendants fell under satan’s lineage as clearly stated in John 8:44.
The goal of God’s entire historical providence was to send a new Adam who could successfully complete the First Blessing, and then enter into marriage and finally establish God’s lineage. In that process He would also adopt all of fallen mankind back into God’s lineage. That is the Marriage of the Lamb mentioned in the Bible.
When Adam and Eve left God, they drove a spike through God’s heart. We have been living totally cut off from God’s love since that point. The purpose of the entire creation was the love between God as our parent and creator and Mankind, His children. In our separation we have created hell on earth.
Parents love their children and want them to be even better than they are. We inherited that love and desire from God. Jesus was the first person who came to know and understand God’s heart. He embodied the greatest love and compassion of any man at that point. As our parent, Jesus said in John 14:12 “You will do greater works than I have done”. God is the parent of parents, the source of all love. Much more than anyone else, God desires that we, His children, become even greater in heart and love than He.
Due to the fall, God lost His ability to communicate with His beloved children, as our spirits become so dominated and dull. He had to watch, unable to intervene, as His children were enslaved and tortured by satan, cut off from love, and pitted one against the other in bitter hatred and jealously.
How could God raise up his children in such a situation? His only recourse was to send religious teachings, like messages in a bottle, to gradually teach mankind over many centuries. The Old Testament contains thousands of stories which are lessons about human behavior, both good and bad, that a parent would want to teach His children.
But we were not normal children. We were captured children turned evil, like the child soldiers in Africa who were kidnapped and then trained to hate and kill.
God had to raise us up from the position of enemy, to the position of servants, teaching us to obey the law through fear.
But Jesus came with the revelation that God is a God of the deepest love, and that God loves every man, woman, and child. In God’s parental love, there are no enemies – only lost brothers and sisters.
Jesus taught for only 3 years, and yet his few recorded words have electrified the world and prepared all mankind for His 2nd coming.
In this age, we can no longer think and pray “God, do this for me. God send me wealth. God smite my enemies.” We need to become sons and daughters of God, following in Jesus’ footsteps, proclaiming: “God, I will end YOUR suffering of 10s of thousands of years. I will be the one to care for and heal my brothers and sisters.
I will be the one to bring peace and reconciliation in my nation and in the world, even if I have to die like Jesus did. I will gladly do that to speed up the coming of your Kingdom, which is the establishment of your beloved global family, and the end of your tears.
That’s what it means to be a mature son or daughter, and to finally recognize and take responsibility for the suffering of their parent, that they had never understood their entire lives.
Due to the fall, Adam’s love became split between God and Satan. God needed to divide Adam somehow so that He could work through someone predominantly on God’s side. That was the significance of the story of Cain and Abel. Since the first relationship of Eve was with satan, he claimed Eve’s first son Cain, knowing that the birthright and the right of inheritance resided with the eldest son. God therefore claimed the second son, and had to find some way to reclaim the birthright through Abel. That was why God accepted Abel’s offering and wanted Cain to make an offering through Abel, to reverse their positions. But instead Cain killed Abel.
After failing with Cain and Abel, God attempted this same reversal again through Noah’s family and then through Abraham’s family. In Noah’s family, Ham judged Noah and failed to inherit his Father’s foundation; In Abraham’s family Abraham failed to properly divide his symbolic offering. However, Isaac inherited Abraham’s mission and his sons Esau and Jacob, succeeded where Cain and Abel had failed. First Jacob bought the birthright, and then many years later, reconciled in heart with Esau.
Jacob reclaimed the birthright to God’s side only when he and Esau were very old. In order to lay the foundation for one person to be born with absolutely no relationship to satan’s lineage, God needed to find a way to restore the birthright to the younger son from birth. This sounds like an impossible challenge.
This was in fact, Tamar’s mission.
After Tamar became pregnant by Judah, who was Jacob’s 4th son, she learned that she had twin sons, Perez and Zerah. And like Rebecca’s twins Jacob and Esau, Perez and Zerah were fighting each other even in the womb.
When she went into labor, Zerah extended his hand out first. The midwife tied a red string around his wrist. Then, however, Perez somehow switched places with Zerah and was born first.
This foreshadowed that in the last days, Communism would emerge first and attempt to dominate the world, but would then be supplanted by Democracy to establish God’s Kingdom. Communism and Democracy are sibling ideologies. But God’s Kingdom will be established by Parents representing God, where all will live as brothers and sisters under God’s parenthood.
Significantly this also restored the birthright to the younger brother from the moment of birth. Perez became the ancestor of King David and of Jesus.
God waited 2000 years to prepare just the right environment to send Jesus. • Israel was finally united in faith centering on the rebuilt Temple • Israelites were prepared through many prophets, culminating in Malachi who appeared 400 years before Jesus. The Israelites were expecting the Messiah • Rome was established as world’s superpower, with technology and influence to carry Jesus’ teachings to all corners of the world • God had established a prepared lineage to embrace and protect Jesus (God was so serious about lineage that he had struck Onan dead for blocking his efforts!)
The year before Jesus’ Birth According to the Bible, God was profoundly working through 1 man, Zachariah, who in fact was married to Mary’s cousin Elizabeth.
Zacharia was a priest of the order of Abijah, one of 24 priestly divisions of the Levitical priesthood of Israel. Each division would be assigned to service the Temple in Jerusalem twice a year for one week, and each priest, chosen by lot would have one opportunity in his lifetime to enter the Holy Place into which only priests were permitted. For any priest it would be the moment of his lifetime.
In that year, some 6 months before Mary was called, Zachariah was the chosen priest. When he entered the Holy Place, the Angel Gabriel appeared to Zachariah and informed him that Elizabeth, who had been baren all her life and was now very old, would give birth to a great son, John the Baptist. Then as recorded in Luke chapter 1, Gabriel paraphrased Malachi 4:5-6 and said “He shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord”.
Remarkably, Zachariah, a high priest, face to face with the Angel Gabriel, in his one moment in the Holy of Holies, lacked faith in God’s message. In rebuke, Gabriel struck Zachariah speechless for 9 months, until after John was born. All of Israel heard about Zechariah’s encounter with Gabriel, especially since Zachariah could no longer speak, and this prepared the way for John to be held in great awe and respect.
Gabriel’s message to Zachariah is really important, because all Israel knew from Malachi’s famous prophesy that before the Messiah would appear, God would send Elijah. And since as recorded in 2Kings 2:10-11, Elijah had departed into the Heavens on a chariot of fire, the people of Israel were expecting him to return on the clouds. But when asked about Elijah, Jesus in Matthew 17:12 said “Elijah has already come, and it was John the Baptist”.
So clearly the 2nd coming of Elijah was not the same person as the original Elijah. Rather, it was the spirit and power of Elijah working through a living person with the same mission – in this case John the Baptist.
In the case of Jesus, he too was following on the foundation of a prominent predecessor, Moses. Moses came to lead the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt and into the promised land of Canaan, on a National level. Moses writings and actions formed the basis of the Old Testament
Jesus came to lead all mankind out from bondage in satan’s dominion, and into the Kingdom of Heaven on a Global level. In that sense you could say that Jesus was the 2nd coming of Moses. Jesus’ words and actions formed the basis of the New Testament
6 months after appearing to Zacharia, Gabriel reveals to Mary that she will give birth to the messiah. When she asks how is it possible, since she is a virgin, Gabriel states: “The Holy Spirit will come on you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. For no word from God will ever fail” At which point Mary answered “I am the Lord’s servant”.
Greek and Roman mythology is rich in stories about Gods impregnating human women to create heroes.
Both Zeus (Greek) and Jupiter (Roman) were said to have impregnated Alcmeme to produce the hero Hercules.
More than 300 years after Jesus’ birth, in Nicea, a Turkish town and part of the Roman Empire it was officially determined that Gabriel’s message to Mary meant that God conceived Jesus without a physical father, thus elevating Jesus’ status in the eyes of the people of Rome at that time. This doctrine contributed to accelerating the embrace of Jesus and Christianity after three centuries of torture and persecution.
Immediately after her encounter with Gabriel, Mary traveled to the home of Zachariah and Elizabeth, who was Mary’s elder cousin. It is a journey of approximately 60 miles and takes several days.
When Mary arrived, God gave Elizabeth an amazing revelation through the unborn baby John in her womb, and Elizabeth proclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”
But Elizabeth doesn’t mention any baby in Mary’s womb. Elizabeth only speaks of the child Mary will bear in the future.
In Luke 2:21, it states that Gabriel revealed what Jesus’ name would be “before he was conceived”. But there is no reference as to when Jesus was actually conceived.
It was presumably either during the brief (3 days) journey from Nazareth to Zachariah’s home in the highlands of Judea, or shortly after Mary’s arrival at the home of Zachariah.
Clearly God was working an important providence through Zachariah and through Elizabeth. God surely had worked 4000 Biblical years to prepare the environment where his long awaited son, Jesus could be received. God had prepared revelations so the people were actually expecting Jesus. God had prepared the Roman Empire which could convey Jesus’ message to the world.
At the time of Moses, God had prepared his older brother Aaron, to be his right hand man, and to be his spokesman. In a similar way, it was revealed that God prepared John to be Jesus’ spokesman, and to make the way straight for Jesus. John was even prepared before his birth to jump for joy in Jesus’ presence.
If God could miraculously conceive Jesus with a virgin, why would Jesus’ lineage matter at all? But we know that God worked meticulously over millennia to purify a lineage from which Jesus could be born.
There are remarkable parallels between the story of Tamar and Mary. In the Garden of Eden, Eve was told that if she disobeyed God (by “eating the fruit”) she would die. She did so anyway at the risk of her life, which resulted in Adam and Eve falling under satan’s lineage and domination. Both Tamar and Mary were called to recover God’s lineage. Both did so, at the risk of their lives. When Tamar began to show, Judah’s first response was to burn her to death. However, realizing that her pregnancy was God’s will, he repented and declared “Tamar, you are more righteous than I.” At the time of Jesus’ birth, a woman who became pregnant outside of marriage could be stoned to death.
Zachariah surely knew the story of Judah and Tamar very well. He surely knew from Gabriel that his son was chosen to be the Elijah for Jesus. He surely knew from Elizabeth that Mary was to be Jesus’ mother. Surely Zachariah understood that Jesus needed to be protected and educated and raised up, and that John and Jesus needed to have an unbreakable relationship, centered on Jesus’ mission.
What if Jesus and John had grown up together as brothers in Zachariah’s home?
But we know that Zachariah did not follow Judah’s precedent. Instead of protecting Mary, when she was 3 months pregnant and showing her pregnancy, she left his home.
This was tantamount to a death sentence for both Mary and Jesus.
God intervened and persuaded a reluctant and suspicious Joseph to take the pregnant Mary as his wife.
Zachariah’s betrayal of Mary was a tragic failure. There is a precedent for that too. When Sarah became jealous of Hagar, she prevailed upon Abraham to send Hagar and Ishmael away.
The resentment caused by that decision remains to this day as one of the world’s great unresolved hatreds in the separation between Israel and the Arab states.
I personally believe that Zachariah was in fact Jesus’ father, and that the Holy spirit came upon Zachariah and Mary and compelled them to conceive Jesus together. I believe that John was in fact meant to grow up as Jesus’ older half brother, and feel a deep heart of loyalty and protection for his younger brother, coming to know Jesus’ heart intimately from their life growing up together over many years.
I believe Zachariah was supposed to have provided Jesus with the same education that John received, so that both of them would have been held in the highest respect among the leaders of Israel, not just John. I believe that Elizabeth, in spite of the amazing revelation she received, became jealous and resentful of the young and beautiful Mary, and of the affection that Zachariah was showing towards Mary. And like Sarah, I believe she persuaded her husband to expel Mary.
Three months later, when John was born, Zachariah’s tongue was miraculously “set free” and in Luke 1:68-79 he spoke about the mission of his newly born son John saying: “You my child shall be called the prophet of the Highest; for thou shall go before the face of the lord to prepare his ways”.
But importantly Zachariah omitted the key revelation from Gabriel, namely that John was to inherit the “spirit and power of Elijah”. Clearly John was raised with two tragic oversights:
1. He was never told that he was to come representing Elijah; and
2. He was never told that Jesus, his cousin and possibly his half brother, was in fact the messiah.
Desperate for Jesus to be properly protected and educated, God sent three Kings to find Jesus at his birth. They clearly understood Jesus’ significance and gave him a few gifts. But when they heard that Herod wanted to kill Jesus, they turned and snuck away in fear, leaving Jesus defenseless.
God sent an angel who helped Joseph and Mary escape with Jesus to Egypt to avoid being murdered by Herod.
When Jesus was 12, there is a brief episode recorded in Luke 2:41-45. Joseph and Mary, now back in Israel, went to Jerusalem for the Passover festival with Jesus and his younger siblings. They were a full day’s journey on their way back home before they realized that Jesus wasn’t with them. It appears that the two had lost sight of Jesus’ position as the messiah, and were more focused on Joseph’s children. When they finally found Jesus after 3 days, he was in the temple amazing the scholars. Joseph and Mary scolded Jesus.
However, there is also a precedent for someone whom God has chosen to be raised in the temple.
In 1 Samuel 1-2 we learn that Hannah who also received a miraculous child from God offered that child to be raised in the temple by Eli, the Priest. That child, Samuel became a great prophet, who anointed both King Saul and later King David, Jesus’ ancestor.
Surely God would have wanted Jesus to be educated in the Temple rather than in the home of a carpenter. But Joseph and Mary did not witness to the scholars about the miracles of Jesus’ birth and instead took him away with them.
God cried oceans of tears from the moment he lost his children, longing for even one person who could hear his voice and connect to his heart. All the historical figures in the bible after Adam and Eve related to God as their master, from the position of a servant. Because of the conditions of 4000 biblical years, finally God could send one person who had absolutely no relationship with satan. Finally there was one person whom God could freely love, and who could freely respond to God’s love. Jesus was the first person, since Adam and Eve, to be born from God’s lineage. Even though satan invaded everyone who had been prepared to raise and educate Jesus, nonetheless God personally loved and cared for Jesus, just as he had done with Adam and Eve. God educated and raised Jesus. Jesus was the first person to understand that God is our Parent of absolute love. He was the first person in history to fulfill the First Blessing, and thus unite in unbreakable oneness with God. He was the first person to inherit God’s unfathomable heart of love.
Finally, at the age of 30, Jesus was ready to begin his own ministry. He came to John in the river Jordan and John, felt spiritually that Jesus should baptize him. But Jesus said “no, you should baptize me.”
When John, the final prophet of the old testament age baptized Jesus, the entire historical foundation of 4000 biblical years was bequeathed to Jesus. At that moment, John received the greatest revelation recorded in the Bible where the heavens opened up and he saw the Holy Spirit come down upon Jesus in the form of a dove. And John proclaimed Jesus as the Messiah.
But when the revelation passed, John realized that the person he had proclaimed as the Messiah was actually his black sheep cousin Jesus. The one who had been conceived out of wedlock. John immediately began backing away from Jesus. He had been proclaiming “I am not worthy to tie his sandals”, but this was not the Messiah John had been expecting. Shortly after that, his disciples saw Jesus baptizing and asked John why they weren’t joining Jesus, and John curiously remarked “He must increase and I must decrease”.
If after preparing his whole life to meet the Messiah, John finally found him, then surely he should have stuck with Jesus and become his first and greatest disciple. Surely they were meant to increase or decrease together in total unity.
Every person in Israel was dreaming about and longing to meet the Messiah. Yet John, after receiving a direct revelation from God, turned his back on Jesus.
Immediately after John’s departure, Jesus went to the desert and fasted for 40 days. Why was this necessary? It is because when Jesus lost John, he lost the entire foundation of 4000 years, on which he was meant to stand.
Jesus had to abandon his mission as the Messiah, and take upon himself the mission of John, calling Israel to repent. In that sense, Jesus replaced John as the 2nd coming of Elijah at that moment. This is why he told his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.
Having taken on John’s mission, Jesus could now be attacked by satan, who tempted him seeking to crush Jesus.
Instead of witnessing to the political and religious leaders of Israel who were prepared by God to respect and unite with John, Jesus was forced to witness to tax collectors and fishermen.
When the Jewish leaders sent priests and Levites to put the question to John asking “Are you the Elijah”, he answered “No I am not”.
They then attacked Jesus saying how can you be the Messiah, if Elijah has not yet come? That was when Jesus made it clear that John was in fact the Elijah. The leaders of Israel then had to decide whom to believe. John, who was a greatly respected prophet, or Jesus, a carpenter’s son who associated with prostitutes and tax collectors. Importantly, because of John’s denial, they concluded that Jesus was a false Messiah, and ultimately sentenced him to death.
Knowing that the powers of Israel were uniting against him, Jesus took his disciples to the Mount of Transfiguration to witness his consultations with the spirits of Moses and Elijah. Why Moses and Elijah? It was because in fact, Jesus was the 2nd coming of both Moses and Elijah. Having taken upon himself the burden of John the Baptist’s mission, Jesus was to have completed Elijah’s mission. He was also responsible for completing Moses’ mission of leading all mankind from slavery back to God. However, due to the disbelief of the people, like Moses, Jesus was denied the victory of actually entering the kingdom.
In Luke 19 41-44 Jesus weeps for Jerusalem:
“If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”
In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus brought his three closest disciples and desperately prayed to God for some way to continue in his mission.
But when they failed to stay awake, he knew clearly that there was no way to continue his original mission, and that satan had invaded all mankind, even his closest disciples. Jesus was left with no option but to offer his life so that satan would not be free to destroy all mankind. Jesus willingly gave his life for the very people who were killing him.
Jesus was never able to marry and establish God’s lineage.
After his resurrection God gave the Holy Spirit which is God’s feminine essence, as Jesus’ spiritual partner, and through their unity, Jesus and the Holy Spirit offer spiritual rebirth to those who believe in Him.
But up until today satan has been able to physically attack even reborn Christians.
In Romans 7:24-25, St. Paul, one of Jesus’ very greatest disciples lamented about the war between his body and his spirit.
Up to this day, even faithful Christians who marry, still give birth to children with original sin and who need to be baptized.
Jesus was not able to restore mankind’s lineage back to God. That is why he said he would come again, to complete that mission, through the marriage of the Lamb.
In 1935, on Easter morning, after praying all night on a mountain in North Korea, Jesus called Rev. Sun Myung Moon to complete the mission Jesus was unable to complete.
Today, just like Israel 2000 years ago, many Christians misunderstand the meaning of 2nd coming. They expect Jesus to reappear physically, in the same body, with scars on his wrists. They are looking for Jesus to come on the clouds.
Like Jesus in Israel, 2000 years ago, the person who was called by God to inherit that mission was severely persecuted by both the government and the religious leaders. Rev. Moon was in fact arrested and tortured by the government of Japan for his activities for Korean liberation. During Japanese occupation, he was tortured at the police statin in Gyeonggi Province by a policeman, Kumada Hara. However, remarkably, when Korea was liberated at the end of World War 2, and Rev. Moon learned that Mr. Hara was trapped in Korea unable to return to Japan, and that some Koreans were planning to murder him, Rev. Moon arranged for his escape that very night, so that he could return to Japan.
He was arrested and subsequently tortured in both South Korea and North Korea at the request of Christian leaders.
In America, at the request of religious leaders he was investigated and persecuted and finally imprisoned by the Federal government.
However, as result of that unjust imprisonment, an amazing coalition of both conservative and liberal Christian leaders lead by Rev. Jerry Falwell and Dr. Joseph Lowery came to stand up and defend Rev. Moon.
Rev. Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon were married in 1960 in the prophesied Marriage of the Lamb in Korea. That was the beginning of the Holy Blessing Ceremony. Since that time, they have expanded marriage blessings to include hundreds of millions of couples around the world. The children of those couples are born to God’s lineage, without original sin.
Rev. Moon died in 2012 and now his wife, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, who is the first woman to receive the blessing that Eve failed to fulfill, stands as God’s Only Begotten Daughter, and as the Christ on the Earth at this time.
In Isaiah 49 there is a famous revelation that Kings and Queens shall bring their daughters and sons to Christ. That, in fact is happening at this time. Over the past several years, hundreds of current and former heads of state are all coming together centering on Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, to achieve peace at this final moment in history. Many have helped organize Blessing Ceremonies for the young people in their nations. Not just President Trump, and Mike Pompeo and others in Trump’s circle, but current and former leaders of nations from every continent. And not just political leaders, but also religious leaders from virtually every religion. And leaders from all areas of society are all working together under Dr. Moon’s leadership.
In February of this year, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon organized a remarkable World Summit in Korea. In spite of severe covid restrictions, they Dr. Hak Ja Han H.E . Samdech Hon . Mike H .E. Ban H .E. The second coming has happened. In fact it won’t last much longer. She is now 79 years old. If you are one of those who said “If I were alive at the time of Jesus, I would have totally served him.” Or “When he returns, I won’t repeat the mistakes of the past. I will be a totally faithful disciple”. Well, you still have that opportunity, but there is not so much time left.
