FFWPU USA NE: CIG Missionary Albania Semester Program Info Session Tonight

Starting next year in mid-January The CIG Missionary Program will be hosting a Young Adult program where young Unificationists will be sent to Albania to be trained in witnessing and witness themselves. This is an extensive semester long program and has been one of the most successful GPA programs to date. Most people who participated in overseas CIG Missionary witnessing have come back to join and lead local CARP chapters. What’s unique about this experience is that you don’t have to be enrolled in GPA to be a part of it this time. Any young person currently attending college, or recently graduated college is invited to apply.

Cheon Il Guk Young Adult Missionary Program

CIGYAM The Cheon Il Guk Youth Missionary program was initiated by True Mother in 2013 in order for second-generation and young unificationist members to inherit the legacy and foundation of the 1975 missionaries. True Mother’s hope is to reignite the spirit of the early church in all corners of the world. This is her initiative to raise the next generation of leadership.

Two years ago I had the opportunity to serve as a CIG missionary in Albania, but unfortunately we could only stay for a month due to the pandemic. Still, from that experience I had many takeaways and inspirations connected to the value of witnessing and sharing the Principle.

This great experience laid the foundation for eight missionaries including myself to start a new CARP chapter in the Capital area of our nation. Driven with the goal of supporting national restoration by restoring the Capital, this CARP chapter has become a place where I can continue to grow in my love and spirit.

I’ve chosen to go back on mission again this upcoming semester through joining the Young Adult CiG Missionary program. Personally, I feel a calling

Chris Krienbuehl to look beyond the nation I was born and raised in: I am here on earth to serve the world. I hope to grow my heart even more through this experience next CARP DMV semester, so that when I do return back I can offer 22 y.o. and contribute more to the effort being made here.

Requirements/Criteria for YA Candidates External Internal ● Age: 20-30 ● Stable basic life of faith practice ● Physically healthy ● Basic faith in HP, TP and the DP ● Engaged in church activities in local area ● Currently in college or graduated college ● Recommended by local, subregional, or ● Submit application national church leadership ● Complete and pass interview ● Commitment to adhere to the CIGYM program rules and regulations ● Desire to contribute on the long term to providential endeavors (directly or indirectly) ● Desire to witness→ learn and grow in witnessing
