HPHC in Seattle: Shigeru Araki passed away last night at 12:22 am, December 4

Greetings of Peace! We are taught by our True Parents that the time of a person’s transitioning to the spirit world is a very happy occasion. Actually it is the happiest occasion of all. And it is with this thought that I would like to announce the passing of one of our elder brother in our community, Mr. Shigeru Araki. He passed away last night at 12:22 am, December 4, 2021 with his wife Mrs. Diane Araki and her daughter Rebecca Araki in the hospital and the other children with them on zoom.

I know that even we know what it means to transition to the spiritual world, still it is not easy for each and everyone of us to digest the death of two of our family members almost just a week apart. It is in this time that questions arise in our mind instead of simply keeping the attitude of acceptance and submission.

But my dear Blessed Central Families, Brothers and Sisters in our Heavenly Parent and True Parents, whatever thoughts come to our mind, let us remember that this is the time that our faith and our trust in the Heavenly Providence should be the greatest. We are all small beings in the great providential work of heaven. But we all have great impact in it in the same way that a small stone that we toss in the water create ripple effect and cause a big wave. What we are experiencing in our community here in Seattle can affect our whole state and the whole of our subregion which eventually affect the whole continent and the world.

The Granstrom family have been taking the passing of Brian with so much grace and dignity. Let us pray for the Araki family to handle the whole situation well too. That they can really be comforted by the love of our Heavenly Parent, True Parents and Jesus and of our love as their family and community.

Their passing to the spirit world has a great purpose. May we can allow heaven to realize that purpose to the fullest and let Brian and Mr. Araki work from the heavenly realm even greater than how they have worked here in the physical realm. Let us support them in every way for their victorious ascension.
