FFWPU USA: Youth and Students for Peace seeks National Program Coordinator

The International Association of Youth and Students for Peace (IAYSP) is seeking a National Program Coordinator who believes in the power of youth to create sustainable change in the world. The National Program Coordinator will work with the National President to promote and activate programs that support IAYSP’s vision, mission, and objectives.

Job Title: National Program Coordinator

Reports to: YSP President

Job Location: Flexible - Most regular work can be done from home. Some minimal travel to events may be needed.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Branding, Marketing & Promotion

• Clearly and consistently articulate brand, key messages, and calls to action across all marketing channels with a high degree of quality • Grow stakeholder community in a way that is intentional and nurturing • Leverage all digital channels in service of audience and targeted growth metrics • Ensure the voices of the community are seen, heard, and felt

• Ensure an exemplary digital experience across all platforms

• Oversee program planning and execution to advance strategic goals, mission and values • Work with program staff to develop new programs that bring in revenue • Ensure that programs are in service of existing YSP community as well as designed to expand the YSP base • Lead programs online and in person

Strategic Planning & Leadership

• In partnership with the Board, develop a strategic plan • Develop annual goals and operating plan based on strategic plan approved by the Board • Manage the staff to fulfill the goals and operating plan

Vision & Leadership

• Be a committed embodiment of – and ambassador for – IAYSP • Build, nurture, and inspire the community • Represent the core values in practice nationwide through public speaking, webcasts, and other medium • Seek opportunities to partner with like-minded organizations around the world • Develop a network of spokespersons and message-carriers to help build and sustain our efforts [YSP Ambassadors]

Administration

• Maintain all required documentation to preserve 501c3 status • Prepare documentation for board meetings, national and international meetings
